with how fiercely they feel for each other, they do argue and ignore each other a lot. most of the problems they encounter (hermione more so) happens when tom decides not to grace her with his friendliness :O

This was absolutely wonderful. If Tom had a powerful moderating influence like Hermione, I have no doubt that this is how things would have turned out-especially if he was sorted into Gryffindor. Dumbledore always did have a weakness for handsome, ambitious young men that he felt like he could influence. Thanks for writing and sharing!

Very interesting! Loved the morally-grey Tom. I'd have found it funny if Grindelwald had been set up by Tom to be defeated by Hermione (or recognized publicly as such) to help her further her cause for equality. It would have been glorious revenge on Slughorn and his like.
