Howdy! I'm ConNopales

I'm 30. My children are old enough to start taking up my anime mantle and so I've been re-watching and re-feeling all the first feels. It's been great. :D

Fics are definitely still my escape from the daily grind. Although, I am finally trying my hand at writing them after almost fifteen years of reading and reviewing. (I was around when individual fandom/fanmade sites archived fanfiction and that was the go-to. Ha! Ew.)

But fanfics are great. They've helped me get through a lot in life, mostly boredom, long bus and train rides, trans-pacific flights, putting my kids to bed, ya know those lulls in life where everyone's just waiting to get to the next thing. But hopefully, my feedback has helped others get through something of theirs.

All-in-all, I'm just looking for a well-crafted story. I want to fall in love with your characters, cry when they endure there fictional ups and downs and feel everything else in between. Unless it's a twilight fic. Then I just want something slightly more reasonable than canon. Ugh. Well, happy writing.

If you’re reading You Awake, that one will be on pause for a minute while I work out the kinks. It's actually complete on AO3, but that audience was loving everything until chapter 7. They said it was too jarring/confusing after that cause people died outta nowhere. So I will be revisiting all of the currently available chapters and making things more MORE apparent (cause I'm guessing it's waaay too subtle if people didn't know people were dead or gonna die). I will not be undoing all the death though, because it has to happen. Otherwise, the bigger story can't happen later. Errr...I mean, I guess they don't have to happen, but then things would get clunky. XD Just think of it like a forest fire. We gotta burn away all the old stuff to make way for the new.

In the meantime, I hope you like my holiday Kacchako short-fic.
