... I think I love you. I (for some insane, completely unknowable reason) decided that I wanted to read some Bella/Jake fiction and so I went to the All Powerful Google. While searching I came across your fic The Movement of the Earth and as suggested in your authors note I went to the other authors note at the end of your story and read that...I cried and laughed hysterically for close to 15 minutes, and, once I calmed down, read it again. And again I laughed and cried hysterically for another 10 minutes. My roommate looked at me and slowly backed out of the living room and out the front door. She came back an hour later and asked if I needed the nice men in the clean white coats. that sent me off again and she actually looked concerned. It was a good time. But, back to you. I haven't read TOTE yet, but I went and found your Twilight stories and decided to read those too. I love this one. The voices in Jake's head are so PERFECT, and Jake and Bella's responses to the situation are so NATURAL, and Bella just did something that might make her an actual HUMAN BEING. This is beautiful, a work of art. I'm going to spend the next 7 hours going through your stories now.
(...really, Meyer's characters acting rationally, this is so completely unheard of...)

I love this story. Jake is so sweet and innocent and trying so hard and "all he feels anymore is want". Quil and Embry in the background of his mind are perfect as we imagine his friends to be. The big sisters are so mature and so ready to look down on little dorky brother. And Bella at the beginning is just as we first met her, miserable and unable to help herself. But by the end of your story she is reaching out to Jake and "good things are happening". I love it, thank you.

I've read this oneshot at least six times and I still absolutely love it. You've just completely and perfectly captured the characters and the situation.

Your characterization leaves nothing to be desired.
