Last time I checked Meilin's not a 10-year-old childish girl here. I'm sure she has some common sense to see that Syaoran hid the secret from everyone, geez not just from her, even from his own mother, even from the woman he loves more than his life. So do you think Meilin was that stupid to expect that Syaoran would tell her his secret? Lol. It will make her look stupid and desperate if she throws tantrum about it. He hid his secret from Sakura for 9 years so Meilin shouldn't expect much, right. Meilin should know that if he hid it from Sakura then what more she should expect? It will make Meilin's character looks so SHAMELESS if she get mad because Syaoran hid secret FROM HER. Lol.
What you want her to do? Yell "Syaoran! You have the right to hide secret from everyone and from Sakura but you don't have the right to hide secret from me!"
Lol. Is that what you want her to do? Do you think it will help her character? Lol. If you're a mature writer, you should know how to give some common sense to your character instead of making them act like a brainless child who doesn't have some common sense.
It's not Syaoran's "responsibility" to tell her his secret cause she's just a cousin. Syaoran has all the right to keep the secret to himself forever if that's what he wants. It's his right. Meilin doesn't really have that much right to meddle in Syaoran's life. You see, even the woman who gave birth to him here can't meddle in his life. How much more Meilin? She's JUST a COUSIN. Syaoran's business is his business. Syaoran's business is NOT Meilin's business. You see, this is a deep and mature story so I don't think it's necessary for Meilin's character to act like a childish 5-year-old girl who doesn't have a "sense of understanding" and doesn't know how to respect her cousin's decision, or it will definitely ruin the story. If you're childish, for sure you'll think that Syaoran's business is Meilin's business too. Lol. If you're mature then you should know that Syaoran's business is HIS business ONLY. And Meilin, as a cousin, should just RESPECT that, right. The guy has a body and a life of his own, you know. He can make his own decision. I don't think that Meilin has the right to know everything that's happening in his life when not even his own mother has the right. Lol. I'm sure not even his mother or his own sisters could meddle in his life that much. If Meilin throws tantrums then Syaoran has the right to tell in her face that HIS BUSINESS IS NOT HER BUSINESS. Simple as that.

Syaoran is an independent type of guy that not even his own mother can meddle in his life. It's the same in the anime. He's very independent and he makes his own decision.

What the writer did here was exactly what the CLAMP would do in the anime. It's actually what they did in Clear Card.

In Clear Card, Syaoran was also hiding a secret. Even the CLAMP didn't give Meilin's character the right to know his secret. You see, Meilin in the Clear Card knows that she doesn't have the right to meddle in Syaoran's life. She knows that she doesn't have the right to know his secret or even ask about it. She knows that she needs to respect his decision in hiding secret. Even Sakura doesn't even know it so what would give Meilin the right to know it? Lol. If Sakura doesn't know it how much more Meilin, right? In Clear Card, even the CLAMP already put Meilin in her place. It doesn't need rocket science to know and notice that. Didn't you notice that they didn't even make Syaoran and Meilin interact in Clear Card. They only made them talk through a phone call. And every time they talk, it's just all about Sakura, Sakura, and Sakura. That's how it should be done anyway.

Try to watch Clear Card and see if Meilin should get mad at Syaoran for hiding a secret from her, and then go and complain to CLAMP. Lol Lol Lol

It's 2019 not 1999. It's time to UPGRADE the CCS characters just like in Clear Card. They can't be stuck as 10 years old children forever. Especially if they were portrayed as 20 years old and above in fanfic. If you're going to upgrade their age then you should also upgrade their mental age. Most writers upgrading their age but completely forget to develop their mental age. Lol.

There's only very few writers who can make these characters act mature and act in the exact age they were portrayed and you gonna complain about not making them act childish. How Great. Bye.

This is golden! I love the story so much! The pain Syaoran must have gone through... (Sakura too, but Syaoran is still my fav). I'm glad everything turned out so well. But I gotta say, I was kinda expecting Meiling making a scene after she learnt that her cousin was keeping his condition from her for 9 years. Didn't happen but, oh well. Everything was perfect tho.

It seems like I can feel Syaoran’s pain I can almost cry huhuhu your writing is so good.

Loving this story- and I’m so relieved sakura realizedthis about her fiancée. Even if she doesn’t think Syaoran loves her, I hope she leaves him!

This is Amazing! Perfect Syaoran. Perfect Sakura. I'm just not so satisfied in the ending..I hope you write a little more moments of Syaoran and Sakura where they finally free to be together and no more holding back. You only made them to be together in the very last chapter. That is not cool at all. :( You should at least add one more chapter and show us their wedding. Huhu! After all the drama I wanna see their wedding and honeymoon! That's the only thing that missing and could make this story Epic.

It was absolutely wonderful! Immensely enjoyed the roller coaster you sent me on. Your writing was beautiful and descriptive yet omniscient throughout the whole story. It captivated me and wrapped around me wholly. I can’t wait to see your other stories.

After so many angsty moments, thank you for making such a beautifull epilog. I dare say, that this is the best remake of ccs ending i've ever read. It's unbearable painfull to read in the beginning, but i'm glad that i've reading this story until the end. Thank you for your hardwork.
