Author has written 6 stories for Transformers. Hallo. Buenos dias. Ohayo gozaimasu. Greetings. Nomen mihi Shark est. Watashi wa Same desu. Welcome to my profile. Actual Name: Why would you need to know it? Nickname: Shark. No, I'm serious! It's a long story... Gaming Name: AvacynReborn. Because I am obsessed with Magic the Gathering, and then became obsessed with Runes of Magic. And Phyrexia was unavailable. Age: Older than I look. Zodiac, Element, Planet: Cancer. Coincidentally, Cancer's element is water. Cancer's planet? The moon. Which isn't a planet... But I do love the moon. The Person Behind the Name: Brown hair. Brown eyes. Bookworm/computer geek/gaming nerd/writer. Not necessarily in alphabetical order. Spoken Language(s): English was my first language, but my introduction should have given a hint to the number of languages I know/am learning/want to learn. Took two years of Latin, half a year of French, and attempted Japanese. Still want to learn Japanese, German, and Irish Gaelic, in the future--currently working on German through Duolingo. Muse(s): A shapeshifter who changes his name as often as his shape. Personality: Friendly, but sensitive. I used to be shy, but am learning to speak out more. Curiosity never killed the shark, thankfully, or I'd be long dead. Hobbies: Writing, of course! I also read a lot, fantasy and sci-fi mostly. Nonfiction bores me, and regular fiction is too much like life to bother with. Magic and swords I prefer over atomic bombs and romance. Speaking of magic, I am addicted to the card game Magic the Gathering. Favorite Animals: Sharks, Horses, Bats, Dolphins, Dogs, Snakes, Rats (and mice), Spiders, Cats, Cockroaches, Several Dinosaur Species (including T-Rex and Pterodactyl)...many 'mythical' ones. Such as Phantasmal Dragons. And Sphinxes. Favorite Books: Transformers: Exodus (and its sequels), Firebringer, The Chanur Saga, Redwall Series, Silverwing Series, Darkwing, The Underland Chronicles, Guardians of Ga'Hoole, Dragon Keeper, Maximum Ride, The Squire's Tales, A Familiar Dragon, Dragon Rider, The City of Ember, Spiderwick, Artemis Fowl, Mistmantle Chronicles, The Homecoming Saga, Ender Saga, 2001/2010/2069/3001... Basically, if it's fantasy or sci-fi and doesn't have anything really, really bad, I'd probably like it. Favorite Shows: I don't watch much television. Too busy reading/writing... However, I am a Trekkie(TNG and DS9!), and own all of Transformers G1, and have seen (and loved) the first six seasons of Stargate SG1. Transformers: Prime and TF: Animated were good, too, as was Psych. I LOVE Galavant and have seen it far too many times. I also watched every single episode of The Big Bang Theory. I need to finish Warehouse 13 at some point. And Mushishi is definitely my favorite anime. Favorite Movies: Bumblebee and Transformers take first place, with Castle in the Sky immediately after. Following them, not in any particular order: I, Robot, The Sorcerer's Apprentice, Howl's Moving Castle, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, The Lion King (I and II), The Tenth Kingdom, Star Wars (original trilogy), X-Men (I and II)... My taste in movies is basically the same as my taste in books. Hold the romance, bring on the sci-fi and fantasy. Favorite Music/Songs: I listen to various kinds of rock (alt, Celtic, classical), country and various movie soundtracks. My favorite songs include Linkin Park's "What I've Done", "New Divide" and "Iridescent", Nickelback's "If Today was Your Last Day" and "When We Stand Together" and Five Finger Death Punch's "Far From Home". Likes: The ocean and anything related. A good book. Friends you can trust to be there when you need it. Dark chocolate, apple pie, strawberry ice-cream, sour jujubes, and being able to be a pescatarian (basically a vegetarian who eats fish). Oh, and, of course, reviews! I love knowing that my writing is appreciated. Dislikes: Broussel sprouts and pesto - I think I'm allergic to both. People who are against homeschooling. Plagiarizers. 'Real world' violence and war. People who think fighting is the only way to resolve conflict. Loud/bad music. Swearing. Guns/bombs and such - at least swords gave one a slim chance of survival. Story Related Stuff TRANSFORMERS Secrets Saga Keeping Secrets: School's out, but a quiet summer is not what's in store for Sam, Mikaela, and their transforming friends. A neighbor's cousin is staying with the Witwickys, and soon it becomes clear that she has a dangerous, possibly deadly, secret. Complete! Multi-chapter fic that's mainly '07 movie-verse, though I've tried to make it chronological with ROTF, too. Christmas Secrets: Takes place before Revealing Secrets. Katrina has never celebrated Christmas, so her guardians are determined to make this holiday an unforgettable one. The only problem is, Jazz is called off on a mission, leaving Barricade in charge of the details... Complete! One-shot that takes place after Keeping Secrets. Revealing Secrets: A year ago, Katrina left Tranquility for a more peaceful life; now Megatron has returned. The key to changing Katrina's mind about fighting may lie in her shadowy past, but will her guardians accept the dark truth? Some things are best left hidden. Complete! Takes place during and after ROTF. Destroying Secrets: Coming soon! Others Human Experiment: Starscream, Skywarp, and Thundercracker are bored waiting for orders. What better way to pass time than studying those oh-so-squishy creatures sharing the planet with them? Unless of course the squishy in question has her own plans... Complete! Multi-chapter fic that's set in the '07 movie-verse without regard to the sequel movies. Barricade...Enroute to a New Paint Job: My crack version of why Barricade vanished mid-scene during the highway chase in the first movie. Complete! One-shot in a slightly AU '07 movie-verse. THE UNDERLAND CHRONICLES - Unpublished Prophecy of the Moon: When Chandra enters the Underland, she's not sure what to make of it, but, as a government experiment, she doesn't want to return home. Queen Luxa doesn't argue, for there's a new prophecy, and Chandra's help is needed. Complete! Takes place after The Code of Claw. Proof-read by my awesome beta Mep, aka BloodRedTopaz. Prophecy of the Sun: Chandra's search for Tyn has yet to yield any results, and the authorities are now joining the hunt. Add a nosy social worker and mandatory school to the mix and Chandra may have taken on more than she can handle. Sequel to "Prophecy of the Moon". On Permanent Hiatus. I have taken these stories down, as my focus is and always has been on my Transformers fanfic. These stories were a fun side project, but I lost interest partway through the sequel. If you want a PDF copy, you are welcome to PM me. I have no plans to repost either or finish the sequel. This information will be taken down sometime in early 2020. |
