The name's Sassy.

I am 28 years old and I'm just an average (brunette) girl with an average (busy) life.

I've been writing fanfiction since I was 16 years old and can't see myself stopping anytime soon. So please feel free to send me constructive criticism. I'm not easily offended. I'm a Registered Nurse who works twelve-hour night shifts in the Intensive Care Unit at the hospital - which keeps me plenty busy. I enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. I'm a mom of two rescued kitties who fill my life with laughter, and love to cuddle when I'm trying to write. I'm pretty easy going, because hey, life is hard enough. Don't stress over what you can't control.

I absolutely LOVE to read, but being so busy these days its hard to find the time. My favorite book would have to be The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen. It holds a special place in my heart. Currently reading: The Outsider by Stephen King.

Music is a huge part of my life. I've seen so many bands/singers in concert, that I've lost count. My likes range all over the spectrum, but I'm more of a Country music fan.

I happen to be one of those girls who loves video games. I own almost every system ranging from Super Nintendo to PS4. Although I haven't had the time lately to enjoy it, some of my favorite games include L4D, Assassin's Creed, Uncharted, The Last of Us, Mario, Spyro, CoD, the Sims, Nancy Drew, Resident Evil, Pokemon, and Earthbound.

Writing is my guilty pleasure. I love writing for the IY fandom. It gives me a variety of characters to work with, and a variety of skill levels in how well I can write them. However, I recently discovered the amazing anime of Fairy Tail and have been itching to write something for it, so you may see me branch out of my comfort zone sometime soon. I try to challenge myself because I'm hoping to someday write a book of my own. So please, review, as I love to hear everything my readers have to say.

Hello there, my lovely readers! So.. my nurses union at the hospital that I work at has been on strike for 16 days now... During this time, I managed to get a second job to substitute so I can still pay my bills, as we try to figure out how to obtain a fair contract for our patients. In light of that, I haven't been able to get much writing done, as my mental health has taken a pretty good hit. I'm currently recuperating when I can, and thus have finally healed enough in which I was able to get some writing done! The next chapter of Tomorrow's Destiny is finally in the editing stage! It still need some heavy editing, but I hope to have it posted as soon as I'm satisfied with it. Feel free to hop on over to my tumblr for a small sneak peak! TD is currently my main focus to wrap up, so stay tuned! As for Ripple Effect, no progress has been made on it recently. I want to reiterate that I've decided to give RE a complete overhaul, including a possible title change. I have an idea of where I want to take it, but the current posted chapters don't reflect that, so I'll be revising it. Eventually, it will be taken down and re-posted once I've wrapped up an outline for it. Until I finish that process, this story will remain on hiatus. Sorry to all of it's fans, but I want to do this story right. I'll be letting you know when these changes will occur, so keep an eye out. Porcelain Fists is my back-burner story, so I only work on it when I feel inspired, hence the slower update process. I haven't yet started on the next chapter due to wanting to wrap up some other fics. The next chapter of Double Shot of Heaven is still in a stand-still of being a third of the way done. I honestly haven't opened the document in months. So don't hold your breath of this one getting an update anytime soon. Fatal Attraction is my latest fic and will only be about ten chapters or so. I haven't been working on it lately due to wanting to wrap up some of my older fics, so please excuse the absence between updates. A Christmas Story is officially back on hiatus until the holiday season, so look for more chapters being updated around December 1st! I had originally planned not posting any new multi-chapter fics until I had wrapped up a few, but my muse was tingling and I just posted The Last of Us, my very first multi-chapter Fairy Tail fic! It's proving to be a challenge writing for new characters, but don't worry my IY fans, I'm still working on those fics, too. I promise. My muse just tends to dabble in whatever it pleases. There's always a chance of various one-shots coming out as well. So please feel free to check back here concerning any updates as I will keep this section as current as possible. Stories to Tumblr: Presently, I am posting limited works to tumblr. Right now, this includes a handful of my oneshots and a couple of multi-chapter fics. For those who follow me on tumblr, you can find Tomorrow's Destiny, Double Shot of Heaven, and The Last of Us being updated on my tumblr account. However, all of my work will officially always be posted here first. Thank you to all my tumblr followers who have popped over here to review my stories. It really does mean so, so much!

Reviews: They are so important to writers. How can we improve without them? I personally get discouraged when no one reviews. Favorites and alerts are great, but reviews keep writers going. We know people are viewing our fics, we know our work is being read, but we also know that very few people spare a minute of their time to thank us. Don't ignore your writers. Thank them for their time. Thank them for their imagination. Thank them for putting a piece of their heart on a screen. I now know why so many great authors have disappeared from fanfiction. It only takes 2mins to leave a review. Don't be the reason someone stops writing. Most fic writers get less than 100 reviews on their fics. Most often its WAY less than that. The chances of there being any feedback is pretty much zilch. Views to favorites ratios are minuscule and reviews are rare. We spend months on one story and barely ever get even a "This is great!" Please don't harass your writers. Please don't sweep us under the rug. We work hard. We are important to fandoms. What we do is important. Fanfiction is important. And fanfic authors are important. It just seems as though lately reviews are rare for writers on this site, and it simply breaks my heart. I don't think I'll ever stop writing, because I have tons of ideas I want to dabble with, but still... be kind to those who write fics. They put hours and hours of their time into them. You can spare 2 minutes, can't you?

Fanfiction Requests: (Request status: closed) I will no longer be taking any requests for writing fanfiction related to others' ideas. This is due in part because of my already enormous list of projects I myself am either working on or wanting to start, and also because I simply no longer have a desire to do so. As I work through this year and the process of reclaiming my mental health, I've been learning to say no, and understanding why I'm saying it. I do appreciate those who have reached out to me in the past (and those who I've already committed to, I plan to uphold that promise), as asking an author to tell a story is one of the highest compliments you can give. Unfortunately, I simply don't have the time or energy to devote to this any longer.

Beta Requests: (Request status: open) I am more than happy to accept any and all beta/editor requests related to categories I have already written for. Although my time may be limited every now and then, I can usually edit something fairly quickly. Just shoot me a PM and I will be happy to oblige, as well as give you a time limit as to when I can have it done by. Thank you so much for your consideration! Small note about any sequels to my currently completed stories: Although I've written a couple of spin-offs to finished works, beside the ones listed below, the remainder of my stories will stay complete the way they are.
