How I WISH this scene had played out in the anime/manga. It was much needed, but I also feel like it could totally fit. The way InuYasha and Kagome's relationship progressed in the series, it felt like there was a lot happening behind the scenes that just wasn't being written because it would take us off the track of the subplot happening in the chapter/episode. Anyways, stories with Kagome pouring out her heart to InuYasha over her pure, unadulterated acceptance of him and everything he is, and him taking that in... that's what makes them the best, most special couple out there, and I'll never get tired of having it reiterated. Ever.

This was a really special read and I look forward to reading it again and again.

That was very beautiful very well written as well, you made these character's explore a sensitive issue and took something painful and turned it into a treasure, having that kind of emotion in a story really adds a great spark and makes you want to read theme over and over again.

*SQUEEEEEEE* I LOVE THIS! And I don't give a damn if Inuyasha sounds "OOC," cuz he does have his moments, even if the fandom forgets sometimes. Grumpy or not, he's still very tender and loving when the time is right. And I think under these circumstances, he definitely would've opened up more than usual. Very cute story and beautifully written :)

This is so sweet! I love this concept so much.I don't think it was OOC at all. That sensitive side to Inuyasha WAS present in the show,though those moments were few and far did an excellent job.

I really loved this...Super sweet and I didn't find it all that OOC, honestly. Inuyasha DID have that sweet side to him, and it seems quite right that a moment like this would bring it out. :) Great job!

Squeee! This one-shot seriously made my cheeks hurt from so much smiling! Gosh, I totally agree with you! Inuyasha's sentimental side is not something we often get to see, and I do wish the series indulged us a bit more on that, but I'm so glad that we have writers like you who fill in those little niches.

The symbolism with his hands (and really all descriptive aspects) was amazing, and I'm almost green with envy in how well you were able to tie everything together and how well the sentences were constructed. Beautifully done. Such a sweet little moment you captured away from the main battling they're always enduring. It's these moments I love, the quite moments away that really delve into our favorite characters' relations. Wonderful job :)
