Author has written 21 stories for Transformers/Beast Wars, Lord of the Rings, Batman, StarTrek: The Original Series, RENT, Alice in Wonderland, 2010, and South Park. UPDATED: 3-25-10 A few things. "The morning dawned upon his altar, "My fall will be for you, Tuomas Holopainen is perhaps the most underappreciated composer and lyricist I know of. People should be clamoring for him to write movie scores! Go listen to these two songs, The Poet and the Pendulum and Ghost Love Score and see if you agree with me. Maybe those aren't the best examples--I could fill the page with examples! He's really amazing, and seriously needs more credit. Give him a chance. This year has been a very defining year personality-wise for me. I have stopped caring what people think of me and have become a better person. I have a few very good friends now, people who I know I can trust and who are basically like my family. The music I've listened to has helped a lot--a year ago I wouldn't have seen myself listening to symphonic metal music like Nightwish, Epica, and Within Temptation, but here I am. I saw Nightwish on May 6th, in Club Oasis in Louisville, KY. They are AMAZING, and they are also the very first band that has inspired me to learn all the members' names. (I can list them! Tuomas Holopainen, Emppu Vuorinen, Marco Hietala, Jukka Nevalainen, and Anette Olzon! Of course, the former vocalist is Tarja Turunen!) The music is very inspiring, and I know I wouldn't be the same if I hadn't listened to them. So...there may very well be references or lyrics, but I can't help it. So if you like metal or symphonic metal specifically, go check them out. Epica is a little more metal and Within Temptation is a little more symphonic, while Nightwish is pretty much in the middle... Also, to any fellow NW and TF fans out there...does anyone else think of G1 Starscream when you hear the line "Baptised with a perfect name" from Amaranth? XD Hey all, just checking in. I just changed my pen name (I am now Insane Anarchist...yay!), and I have a few things to say. One, I am not updating Everlasting Darkness again until I have some reviews. It doesn't make me happy to have posted new chapters and not have any recognition. Two, I finished Brisingr the other day, and it was fantastic!! I'm working on a story for that now, and I'm looking for someone who has read Brisingr to talk with!! I NEED to talk about it--nobody I know has read it! (And a fellow RENThead to bounce ideas off would be nice, too!) I saw RENT for the first time a few weeks ago...it's an amazing movie, and an amazing musical. (I'm very excited that Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal OBC/OMC Mark and Roger respectively are touring!) I will say now that it touched me in many ways--and I am now reading Without You, Anthony Rapp's memoirs...and so it's gotten me in a bit of a reminiscing mindset. My grandfather died two years ago from chemotherapy and radiation--not the cancer that forced him to use those measures, and Anthony's story brings back a lot of memories. So if I write something sad, angsty, or heartwrenching...that's why. ALL HALO & TRANSFORMERS STORIES ON TEMPORARY HIATUS!! Now, as much as I'd like the above statement to be a lie, it isn't. Honestly, I'm having ridiculously horrible writers' block, and I can't write on those stories right now. If anyone has ANY ideas, feel free to tell me, because it would be the best thing right now! I've also been away because of school and extracurricular activities. I'm working on the next chapter of Transformers: The Secret right now...I'm planning on making a trilogy, and TTS is coming to an end...I just have to make it convincing and unhurried. But I'm already working on chapters for the sequel...so as soon as I get this last chapter cranked out, I'll be editing the new story. I'm glad to say my writing has grown since I first started experimenting with fanfics. As I've matured as an individual, so has my writing. I still have a lot of room to grow, but I have made some huge improvements in paragraph splits, grammar, spelling, and everything else. I'll be going back and re-editing all my old stuff sometime soon--the first project will be TTS, probably. It's my oldest, and the one that I feel needs the most editing. I'd still love a beta, though--someone who is comfortable with basically anything, and knows the characters well. Anyone that's interested...check the fandoms that I've written in (and my profile) to see what I'd like you to be able to work with. :) Now, I have my LOTR story Predestined up right now, but it's undergoing some MAJOR construction work. Goodness knows when I'll be finished, but I'll be sure to say when! I have another LOTR story (and some others which aren't quite ready yet) which will be up right after I finish updating this! I'd appreciate LOTS of feedback, so I can know how I'm doing! I have a couple new things to say: one, this school year has been very crazy (BOO!) and therefore I haven't been updating. I'm working as fast as I can, but what with stories for outside-ff.net-purposes, my original story, and new stories that keep popping up, it's not easy. And if anyone has ideas for anything of mine, I'd be delighted to hear them. :) Two: I'd just like to say that I only put stuff up here to improve my writing and get feedback on what's good and what isn't. All of this is targeted towards my original fiction, which is still (sadly) in the planning stages. I hope that in posting my work I don't offend anyone, but I'd also like to say that if you put something like 'if you've ever made a half-a..ed mary sue, copy this into your profile' (HINT HINT!) then I'm telling you it won't get to me. It shows immaturity, and it's just plain rude. Feel free to use me as an outlet for that sort of thing, as it doesn't bother me, but still...be serious. Do you actually think putting something like that is worth it? Also, I'm using my OCs here to work on character development, seeing how I write different types of scenes, and trying out character personalities. I'm really trying to be a serious writer, and I hope that people will respect that. Ok, now that that's over... R.I.P. HEATH LEDGER!! I have seen The Dark Knight, and I must say, Mr. Ledger gave a truly unforgettable performance. The acting world has lost one of the great ones. Hey there everybody! I am a rather odd person, and maybe that's why I write weird stories...it fits me! Aside from that, I am an amateur authoress, obviously, and I live somewhere in KY (Mysterious City, to be precise). No I do not speak with a country accent, my family's heritage is actually northern--WV. I am always open to suggestions, constructive criticism, and kudos! My stories are sometimes edited by one of my amazing friends, Crystine! Go support the CAU!! My stories come from the heart, I never write with any idea of what's going to happen, and maybe that's why I am such a slow updater, but I believe that writing a new chapter when struck by inspiration makes writing fresh, and more comfortable to read. With the author not knowing where her/his story is going to go, it brings the story to a new dimension, with a special kinds of discovery and excitement tucked away between the lines. Who else hates that annoying little thing called Real Life? Well, I do...sometimes. I also hate having an overactive imagination, IE: I have about ten stories that I'm only on the first chapter of, and I LOVE them! I'll have to get them all typed up, and then you all can read them! I will be making a series of stories about the many femmes in Love Is A Battlefield. The story will be titled Spark Trails. It basically is a collection of backstories for my characters that don't already have stories. I am writing this because I won't be able to fit as many backstories as I need to in Love Is A Battlefield. I will write multiple chapters on request, but this (most likely) won't be a full-fleged story, as the one that has all my new femme OCs is Love Is A Battlefield. This will be an ongoing project as (hint hint!) more femmes will be popping up, and possibly mechs too. I know I haven't posted any of Spark Trails yet, but do you know how hard it is to fit a huge bio into one chapter? Hard, in case you didn't figure it out. I've been working on several projects at once, Spark Trails, Love Is A Battlefield, Transformers: The Secret (which I just lost a chapter to!), Carrot (a TFTS side fic), Skywriter, Fresh Start, Breaking Point, and Jodi Keller. I am probably overworking myself, doing that AND school, but I haven't gone crazy (yet.). I need ideas for Breaking Point right now...I'm in a little writers' block thingy right now, and I have several later parts written up...but nothing right now. I'd be SO happy if anyone found it in their heart or spark to help me come up with ideas. Add onto ALL that a whole bunch of LOTR stories (plus a few idea-lets for The Dark Knight) and you have what's going around in my brain. Not to mention those tantalizing Star Trek and RENT stories that are sitting on my desktop... Now, because I feel so bad about leaving everyone hanging for SO LONG, I have a pressie. Yes, a pressie. It's a little oneshot that I wrote up today...but I think it's pretty good. It's a Mark/Roger FRIENDSHIP pre-RENT story...rated T for a little violence. Written in light of seeing Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal in RENT on April Fool's Day. I will be posting character bios, as soon as I get them typed up. Also, I will take requests! Yep, if you have a really good idea of a place for one of my stories to go, don't hesitate to PM me! There's good chance I'll use it, and an even better chance part of it will be used. I'm always happy for help, especially when I have writer's block! More updates: I have recently discovered a wondiferous movie that I had heard of but never seen...Edward Scissorhands. If you haven't seen it, then please, do: it's great! Also, everyone MUST go see Remember Me!! I am not a big Robert Pattinson fan because of Twilight, but...he was phenomenal in this, as was Emilie de Ravin. It is the new Titanic, I swear, and is a must-see for 2010. (As is Alice in Wonderland!! :D) So anyway, I'll be updating this page pretty soon, and hopefully my stories as well! Check here occationally for the changes! Thanks, Allie. Also--I'm now writing a few RENT stories...if anyone's interested in hearing my ideas (and a bit of story...) let me know, because I really want someone to read some to see if it's any good. I saw Donna Vivino and Katie Rose Clarke in Wicked a few weeks ago...amazing performance! And I also saw it in London, with Kerry Ellis and Dianne Pilkington! Just the other night I saw Rent with Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal!! I met Anthony (who said he would have LOVED to hug me when I asked, but couldn't because then EVERYONE would be clamoring for a hug), but sadly Adam didn't appear at the door...I don't think any the less of him for it--I know how tiring a performance is, and he's been touring and could easily have been sick. (Darned Chicago rain and wind and cold...) Whatever the circumstances, I still have a playbill autographed by all the cast--I just have to figure out which signature is his!! _ I am determined to get a chance to speak with them both for longer...which would be awesome. I am a betareader. I will be happy to betaread almost any stories.
