Hi to whoever is reading this,

I am Mara from the Netherlands. I recently graduated from University and am now working at a company that subtitles English documentaries and tv shows. But that's probably not why you're checking my profile. I bet you want to know more about what kind of HP fan fiction I write (and why).

Well, I started out writing My Everlasting Love as a school assignment on Fan Fiction back in July 2006. I posted the beginning of the story on the Fan Fun forum of HPANA with the plan of finishing the fic a few weeks later.

Ahem... Make that November 2007. It took me over one year and a half of weekly updates to tell the entire story of what happened to the Marauders and the people in their lives. Now that I have finished writing this story, I thought it might be a good idea to also give Marauder fans from other sites a chance to read it.

I won't lie, it's going to be a long journey... Everlasting starts out at the start of their seventh year at Hogwarts and ends no sooner than on October 31st 1981. However, if you're up for that, you will get a story that becomes better (and longer) with each update, a fic full of romance, action, adventure, humor and even angst. So what are you waiting for? Dive right in! ;)

Oh, for all of you who've finished My Everlasting Love: there are several one-shots below that will give you more insight on what happened before and after the end of Everlasting. And I am currently working on an (AU) sequel called You Only Live Twice.

Anything written by Bill Bryson, Jane Austen and Sophie Kinsella (the only chicklit writer I can bear to read), LOTR-trilogy, HP-series (duh), The Hunger Games, The Gargoyle, The Discovery of Heaven, Atonement, Miss America etc. etc.

As much as I like to write fan fiction, I enjoy reading it just as much! MWPP-era are my favorites, that era actually facinated me even more than the entire Harry-story. Yeah, I'm weird, I know. I'm a huge Marauders-fan and love to read and write about them.
