Hm, never know what to say in these things.

I've been known by a few names over the years. kirasmommy, Flying Solo, Queennyx, Dream Catcher, BB, and a bunch of others. Brain Freeze currently on Insanejournal. Seftimiu more recently here.

I'm interested in various fandoms and genres. I don't pretend to be the world's best writer. Nor do I think I'm the worst. I just try my best.

On the issue of Beta readers. I believe in them. I like them. I prefer them. But I also want to trust them as well. I prefer to use someone I know well. But I've been out of fandom for a while and therefore don't currently have a beta. I do promise though that I run them through spellcheck and re-read them a few times before posting them. I'll also bug some friends of mine to give it a read through.

I'm primarily a slash writer. But yes, sometimes het is in there too. I have a fondness for humor and horror. I also like fantasy, supernatural, and sci-fi.

I also write primarily for 'myself'. So if things don't go like you want them, I'm sorry to hear that. But complaining won't change my mind.

Yeah I know, I haven't updated Incubating in a while. I have to rewrite the next few chapters because I had a huge computer crash and everything on my harddrive got ate. I am still working at the job I got. Hate it for the most part. Love some of the kids though. :D Still trying to find a Practicum and Internship. No luck so far. This sucks so bad. It's all I have left to do to get my Masters at this point. Finishing up this one class, but really should ask about taking another class next session just to keep my hand in, ya know? I also have some health issues I've been dealing with that have sucked the life out of me. Going to have to have some surgeries soon. So I haven't forgotten Incubating, just been dealing with computer issues, school, work, and health. Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving to those that have that. Happy holidays in general to those that celebrate such things in the coming months. And hope to see you soon!

Yeah I haven't updated, but I started new classes for a certificate in addiction's theory while I still search for an internship and practicum, and life is just really busy. Also there is something really daunting about rewriting chapters that were previously written and then destroyed. /sighs/ I have one more surgery to go though! (as far as I know and as long as this last surgery doesn't screw up anything.) I have also lost almost 70 lbs. (I have to work out all the time though to lose weight because things are hinky with my metabolism). But I have all sorts of plotbunnies I would really like to write, mostly cross overs with various fandoms with Elder Scrolls. Also rediscovering my love of Ranma 1/2. (I used to in the days of yore run a mailing list called RRyaoi which was Ranma/Ryoga Yaoi, but that was years ago. I also was an archivist back then.) /sighs/ As always, I have a million things to do, and not enough time for any of it.
