This is my third time reading this. On wattpad and here, I love your writing and the story is amazing . Thank you for writing this

I liked it! (Though eight chapters of bullies and suffering was really hard to do till the comfort came...it might have been a little too much, I think.)
I really liked Leon's perspective and he is sweet in his concern but very 'manly' and 'noble' distance from comfort (he is not really at fault for this, that's how it was.)
I also liked the longer chapter 14, seeing it spelled out is nice. Although, while Leon's for areas of concern were appropriate, one other thing was missing (and, yes, I know, this is the least likely to ever by adressed and admitted by human beings...): the absolute lack of LISTENING to what other people (Merlin) have got to say, if you can't be bothered to think of things yourself you should at least listen! That was true for all of them, even the other (higher-ranking) servants.

I'm going to be honest that this is the MOST Heartbreaking Merlin Fic I have Ever read so far!

Personally I feel the buckets were better off not being magic, they show that while the system is clearly failing Merlin, it's not because most people bear him ill will, to the contrary most of the staff actually like Merlin, and so he had no problems getting help with preparing Arthur's bath.

Oh Merlin... I really wanted to cry for him many times. Abuse is a terrible cycle.

I really like this story! I haven’t read such a satisfying hurt/comfort story in ages, and I really needed it. Also I always thought in the show that Merlin should have had AT LEAST a bit more recognition for everything he did for everyone. This is really sweet and I loved seeing how Leon (and Arthur’s) perspectives changed over time
