Barry wakes up after his final fight with Zoom to learn that the time remnant he created survived the fight. And then they tell him HE'S the time remnant! How can that be? He still feels like Barry! Barry could hear them knocking on the walls, searching every inch of the house. It was clear to him then. He wasn't the first metahuman who had tried to hide. They were going to find him.

"Iris…I'm sick." Iris felt her blood run cold. "What do you mean?" she demanded instantly, "What do you mean you're sick? Sick with what?" But she knew what already. She knew from the looks on both of their faces what it was. "The cancer is back," Barry whispered. (Sequel to Crashing)

The prospect of planning a funeral for Barry right now just seemed like too much for them all to bear at the moment. They all looked mournfully at the empty bed. Seeing it stripped bare and void of sheets was heartbreaking for them. Just yesterday, Barry had been living and breathing, lying in that bed. And now it was empty.

Barry gets hurt a lot. Barry is also hurting a lot. Iris does what she can to help him, and in doing so, she gains a deeper understanding of who she is in the great cosmic scheme of things.

4.09. After getting the stuffing knocked out of him, Barry returns to STAR Labs, and falls into Iris' arms.

Something's not right with Barry. Ever since a run-in with a metahuman, he's been acting…different. Between the wild parties, Flash pranks, and…casual encounters, it's safe to say Barry's not himself—Bad boy Barry. Barry with no inhibitions.

While on a mission, Barry accidentally gets himself stabbed by a knife containing poison. A poison that will only activate, if he falls asleep within the next seventy-two hours. But will he be able to survive those seventy-two hours without sleep? Especially with some unpleasant surprises along the way? Luckily for him, his friends will be there with him throughout the whole thing.

Barry has always struggled with the line between being a CSI and the Flash, while also trying to take care of himself in the process. But after the Singularity, he struggles to repair the city and somehow manage the grief that consumes him. Taking care of himself becomes his lowest priority. Does that matter to him? No. But it matters to everyone else...

When Barry created Flashpoint, it had more consequences than he realized. Now with a mysterious illness that no one knows how to cure, Cisco is bound and determined to make up with Barry, before it's too late.

A collapsing building is just part of the job. Being buried beneath the rubble was never part of the bargain.

2.06. Zoom knocks Barry off his feet hard. The aftermath isn't easy, either. Written for the lovely Kitcat92.

Caitlin gets her periods unexpectedly in the middle of the night. Cisco's being an epic supportive boyfriend. That's it. That's the story. Fluffy fluff fluff with mentions of blood, because, well, periods.

I got this idea just by seeing a recent-ish commercial/promo for Flash. It was Iris and Barry at couple's therapy and for some reason my brain came up with this. I haven't started watching the new season yet so I do not know the whole story about why they were there and everything that is going on between the two. Thanks brain. This isn't Iris x Barry.

4.05. Joe's life may not what he expected, but it's still exactly what he wants. Or: eleven-year-old Barry finally lets Joe into his life, and eighteen years later remains glued at the hip.

4.05 AU. The bachelor party doesn't go according to plan, but it also doesn't end up at a strip club. Nope, Barry's bachelor party takes place at "the second most magical place on Earth:" Chuck E. Cheese. (Assume the strip club visit never happened.)

When a rogue policeman tries to set a trap for the Flash at the police station and takes everyone hostage, Barry get caught in the crossfire. Barry can't find it in him to sleep, no matter how desperately he wants to. It's just...impossible. Thankfully, a good friend is there to help him through it.

4.01 AU. Barry never spontaneously recovers, and one day, a mission goes wrong. Luckily, Wally and Cisco are always gonna have his back, and he'll always have Iris to come home to. They had just moved in to their nice suburbia house when Oliver finally succumbed to the fact that he was sick. Felicity had been waiting for him to admit it and for him to finally crash. She didn't expect him to crash just as hard as he did though, but knowing Oliver she shouldn't have expected him to do anything the easy way.

Whatever Detective Eddie Thawne had thought who the man behind the Flash's mask really was, it hadn't even been near the truth. Eddie's POV at the end of 01x17, "Tricksters". One-Shot.

AU 2x07: When Barry woke up without any feelings in his legs, he was terrified at the thought of never walking again, but when the sensations returned, an ever bigger fear rose; what if becoming the Flash again meant he was going to get another match with the monster who did it. Julian contracts a terrible sickness, forcing Barry and Cisco to get Caitlin back to STAR Labs. But when they find out that the "sickness" might be someone much, much more... will it be enough to get Caitlin to stay, for once and for all? (post-3x23, fix-it of sorts, posting once a day)

When a meta steals Barry's powers, he's left to go through life like a normal human. Sadly for him, when Cisco finally reaches his breaking point, this includes healing like one too. Barry whump incl. Angst as well. Hopefully no one is too OOC.

After locking Barry in the pipeline and turning down the temperature to decrease his chances of running away once they finally let him out Team Flash goes off to fight Zoom. Zoom gets away from them and they head back to STAR Labs (Joe isn't taken by Zoom) to find the conditions they left Barry in threatened his life. Now they have to save him and work on getting his trust back.

One would think superpowers came with full immunity to all known sicknesses, but they do not. Fluff 'n' stuff.

After Barry is pulled into the speed force. See where the characters are now and what new challenges they face. Sort of like a Flash Season 4 to pass the time.

Needing a break, Team Flash goes to the bar to let off some steam. Caitlin finally found out the recipe for an alcohol for Barry. drunk!barry, friendship, humor, *one-shot*

When Team Flash is sent into the future they come across future Barry as the Blue Flash in the ruins of Central City. Something is wrong with Barry and it's more than having lost all of them for 20 years. The Speed Force is falling apart and Barry can feel every second of it Discontinued. This story has WA in it and I don't like them together anymore so I can't continue this. Sorry

During mid-season 1, Eddie thinks that the Flash is dangerous and he creates a task force to catch him. Of course, he doesn't succeed. Eventually, he finds out that Barry is the Flash and so does Iris, but this is about what would happen if Eddie succeeded in catching the Flash.

As if trying to recover after nine months in a coma wasn't bad enough, Barry now has all these strange side effects to deal with. Unexplainable hunger, rapidly disappearing injuries, strange muscle spasms, and worst of all, hallucinations. How Barry should have initially reacted to his powers. A more realistic version of the pilot.

After his father is killed by Zoom, Barry doesn't know where to go. He goes to Oliver and Felicity, seeking comfort.

3.21. After regaining his memories, Barry has a nightmare and a panic attack. Joe helps Iris with the aftermath.

Following a string of jewelry heists, Flash tracks a new breacher in town. The meta-human manipulates the speed force in Barry's cells, leaving him powerless and unable to heal. When he sends the injured Flash to Supergirl's world, the DEO team races to heal Barry and get him back to Star Labs before it's too late.

Joe struggles with the impossible task of raising a traumatized kid. Even well into his teenage years, Barry Allen still struggles with his nightmares, and his obsession with his mother's case is starting to worry his foster father more and more (Barry is sixteen in this, not eleven)

Barry just wanted to be left the hell alone. It's been eight years since Iris West died, and then Past Barry comes barging in looking for answers. Barry realizes that this was his chance to correct his mistakes in the past, and so he traps Past Barry in 2024. "Please! Don't do this!" Past Barry pleads. "I'm sorry Barry."

Mason Bridge is really getting somewhere with his research on Harrison Wells, but when he stumbles upon a man named Barry Allen who just so happened to be a coma patient at STAR Labs for 9 months and the foster brother of the newbie at the CCPN Iris West, things start to get interesting.

A routine day at precinct takes an unexpected turn when one of their CSI is taken hostage.

3.15. Savitar leaves a dying Barry on the streets. He's not the first jaws of death Jesse will reclaim him from.

1.23. Eddie doesn't kill himself; the singularity doesn't happen. But it's still hell for Barry.

2x07 AU. Patty knows Barry isn't sick. She rushes over to STAR Labs to demand answers and finds more than she bargained for

2.23. Harry still hits Barry with the tranquilizer, but Barry makes a break for it. Joe retrieves him.

3.15 AU where Barry and Iris don't break off the engagement. Barry has a rough night after Savitar.

Sometimes the only way to move forward is to admit there's a problem. Barry still grieves. His friends help him cope.

Wally gets trapped in the speedforce, and eventually begins to believe that he'll never be able to go home. But Barry's not about to let that happen.

Jesse, Barry, and Wally catch a speedster-specific sickness and promptly freak out. Sickfic.

[3x15 companion fic] Joe could feel the pain in his own chest as he watches and hears Barry's own agony consuming him. The bandaged covered wound on his chest was nothing Barry couldn't handle. Joe just hoped that Barry could lie in that bed and fall asleep before he completely fell apart.

With Barry's powers in play, it's practically impossible for him to get sick. But when he does, it hits hard, and he begins to lose control of the very powers that should have prevented this misery in the first place. So what happens when the rogue metahumans and criminals begin to take advantage of the situation? Pure chaos ensues

What if Barry is still alive and suffering while everyone else is too busy grieving to search for him. AU right before the ending of 2x04, before King Shark and Wells shows up.

He has tasted true speed-and now it is calling him back. (Sequel to my one-shot "Aspic of the World," in which Trajectory injects Barry with the V9 instead of herself.)

After Zoom crashes through the West household, dragging Henry Allen with him, Joe West pictures the worst. He cannot lose his son, but he also knows his son also cannot a father. Panicked, Joe, Iris, Caitlin, and Cisco race to the scene of the crime. Set immediately after 2x22 "Invincible."

Sister fluff, basically a total rewrite of ep 7, "Human for a Day." Kara blows out her powers for the first time and immediately gets sick, and she won't let anyone but her big sister take care of her. Winn, James and Lucy co-star in equally fluffy supporting roles.

AU 2x16, after injecting Jesse with the Velocity 9 serum, Trajectory took off...but not without punishing the speedster in the pipeline who keep on messing with her fun. With Jesse seizing and all, can Team Flash notice what's wrong in the pipeline before it's too late? Just a short one shot to ensure we all have our dose of Hurt Barry this week.

In their final confrontation, Trajectory doesn't inject herself with the last batch of V9. Instead, she injects Barry. (Episode tag 2x16 "Trajectory," one-shot)

It all ended with a phone call. I didn't hear anything from the Beacon Hills officer after he uttered the words "I'm so sorry, there was nothing they could do." One-shot. 4x08 'Time of Death' episode tag. Agent McCall POV.

It is Memorial Day and Joe West is following the Harrison Wells that appeared after Barry successfully closed the black hole. What he finds and discovers turns into something for the whole team. Just a bit of long weekend fun. In my mind a follow up to my story Plastique Kiss but can stand alone.
