 Author has written 6 stories for Peanuts, and Invader Zim. 2020 update: super old stuff below, too lazy to rewrite. oop. Stuff I’m into and the ships I love: Invader Zim Ohh boy when I discovered iz my sophomore year was I obsessed! The weird and scary world of IZ is so different in comparison to what was being aired on Nick at the time. Honestly going into it I didn’t expect the show to be smart and funny, given it’s reputation as a cringey Hot Topic hallmark. I’ve never seen these types of characters before, I really believe they started new archetypes on their own. Zim is SUCH a perfect villain. It’s amazing how easily he can be this annoying scream demon, but he’s conniving, paranoid, intelligent, he’s just so dimensional. Same for dib too! I try to find fics that recognize this and balance out their characters in a believable way. I love almost all the characters, (My top being Zim, Dib, Gaz and, yes, even GIR) and I honestly didn’t really ship anyone until last year. It started as a joke, but now I ship ZAGR like you wouldn’t believe. It’s kinda sad how much I love a ship that will never happen ;-; (don’t ask me why I think Gaz and Zim of all people would be perfect for each other. You’ll get a straight up essay out of me haha) Undertale I really like all the characters, but Flowey steals my heart. I’m not really into the AUs, but I do like seeing different interpretations on how the characters treat each other off screen. I also totally support the Dad!Gaster theories out there. Parental tragedies are always cool (also I only really ship soriel out of all the characters haha. i’m down with either platonic or romantic tbh) Sonic the Hedgehog (Game!Universe) My childhood hero! haha. My first sonic game was Unleashed, and it remains my most favorite sonic game to date. And lil 8 year old me became enthralled with sonamy when I would watch Sonic X on 4kids, and they’ve been my otp ever since! Zootopia Would you believe me if I told you I saw the movie 6 times in theaters?? I have the tickets to prove it. Honestly I think Zootopia is a cinematic masterpiece. It’s message was well executed, the pacing was top notch, the world of zootopia was so intricate and involved with the story, and the main characters!! Oh my gosh I’ve never seen two characters with more chemistry than Nick and Judy, I highly doubt I ever will again. They work as platonic or romantic partners and stay IC because that’s how perfect they are for each other! Also playing with what happens in a masterfully crafted world like zootopia (or its earlier, equally as amazing distopian version) makes for endless fresh stories. I just. I really love Zootopia okay. |
