Hi. I'm SolemnGlory. Real name is Sara. I'm age 21, and I'm half Puerto Rican, with some German descent and a dash of Irish (like any of you care). I like writing, and enjoy reading well written (Emphasis on well written) fanfics. I give my polite, honest opinions in reviews, I love to encourage good writing, and I believe in becoming a better writer. I like to give constructive critiques (I like to look at stories from various points of views, perspectives, as it makes it more interesting and complex. I look for clues in symbolism and foreshadowing in other works). I often use symbolism and foreshadowing in my stories, so that's something to look for... Now, onto the fun part... My favorite shows are:

Supernatural: Gotta love Sam and Dean! The two best heroes and they don't even need a red cape to prove it! (I like heroes who have a little bit of a bad side!) (Favorite pairing on the show is Castiel/Meg). Crowley and Rowena are two more of my favorite characters (I like bad ass villains with a little bit of good in them!) RIP Crowley... :( I also like Jack.

Invader Zim (Favorite pairings are Zim/Gaz and Dib/Tak) I also Love PAGR (Pepito and Gaz Romance!) Surprise! I'm a big fan of Squee Comics! I also like some SATR (Skoodge and Tenn).

Oh, and to answer some questions, I don't ship ZATR, ZADR, SAGR, PASR, or TAGR, so none of those pairings will ever appear in my IZ stories. I usually don't like to give too much information away about my stories while they're in the works (I like the element of surprise), but this much I am willing to tell you. I like to leave small author's notes about my fics at the end of each chapter :)

I like most of the main characters on the show. Zim is my all time favorite, while Gaz is my second favorite. They are bad ass! (I tend to like certain villains!) ZAGR is my favorite ship, with DATR a close second. I like Dib, who is unfortunately tortured throughout the whole series, but I admire his perseverance and unselfishness to save people (even if his version of Earth they are mostly drooling morons). He takes a lot of crap, and has bad luck, but at the end of the day, he becomes stronger as a result of it (It shows true heroism!)

Vampire Diaries (Favorite pairings are Stefan/Elena and Bonnie/Jeremy) Bonnie is my favorite!

The Walking Dead (Favorite pairings are Rick/Michonne (Richonne all the way!) and Carol/Daryl. I also love Carol/Ezekiel.)

Rick is my absolute favorite character (I love how he constantly swings from hero to anti-hero), but I also love Michonne, Carol, Daryl, Eugene, Carl (RIP), Morgan, and Glenn (RIP), to name my top few. Jerry is one of my more recent favorites (he's hilarious) Ezekiel, Judith, Dog, Shiva (RIP), and Jesus (Awesome fighting moves and nice personality) (RIP).

(If I listed all my shows, ships and favorite moments, you'd be reading this page for hours. If you can take a guess, yes I love paranormal shows, horror, and science fiction. I proudly admit that I am a nerd!)

ATTENTION ALL!

I've been getting a continuous stream of pretty insulting and "pig shit" reviews under guest, but I've been moderating my reviews since a troll was accusing me of ruining the fic Shades of Purple. At first it was the "pig shit" comments, which I didn't take seriously, then it became worse when they started using other people's user names under guest and tried to act like them. I got about 50 of them in one day's time. I knew it wasn't the actual writer or a regular reviewer. I swear, people have nothing better to do than to act ignorant and bully hard working writers. It's just immature on their behalf. If anyone gets any guest reviews using my username to say something mean, rest assured it's not me. I always log in, and I always am polite.

Good and honest reviews are always appreciated; flaming trolls somehow only inspire me to write even more (Seriously, if you are flaming me as a guest, grow a pair and use/make your account!)...mostly because I get a kick out of offending them even more by continuing my stories XD and I just love writing so much! And you have to realize if you are reviewing stories that aren't complete and ask questions, I will most likely refuse to answer. It's not to be rude, but I can't give my story line away while it's in the making! So if something seems off, confusing or unresolved...I assure you that the answers WILL appear in future chapters!

As for future flamers...you may have tried to burn me with tiny, insignificant flames, but guess who brought a flamethrower? Me! If there's one thing you should know about me, it's that I'm not just an obsessed Invader Zim fan, but I'm also a CRAZY Walking Dead fan too, so I can easily flame with the best of them if I have to...So if you go that route, prepare to be roasted...

BECAUSE A BUNCH OF TROLLS HAVE DECIDED TO ATTACK AUTHORS IN THE INVADER ZIM FANDOM, MY FLAMETHROWER WILL BE COMING OUT! PREPARE TO BE ROASTED, TROLLS!

ANYONE UP FOR SOME FRIED TROLLS?

Celestial Darkness messaged me earlier and said she's gotten people trolling her fic too under guest. Leaving very mean comments, and the "pig shit" ones. I am sorry to hear that happened to Invader Johnny, to Zim's Most Loyal Servant, Celestial Darkness, OtherRealmWriter, and to Zim55. I hope everyone is okay. It's a shame because everyone on this site is really polite and encouraging. They don't deserve this crap. The trolls are trying to imitate actual writers and use their usernames under guest reviews.

I don't know much, but the trolls were telling me in the anonymous reviews that there was a 'movement' on Twitter to stop people from writing fan fiction because it was ruining Invader Zim. And they were going on and on about how the Zim comic "sucked" compared to the show. They were ranting saying that people like me and fan fiction writers caused Jhonen Vasquez's Zim comics to "deteriorate into a downward spiral". They said it was #Fan Girl Crisis, and that Jhonen had to change characters to suit fan fic writers. I don't know if this is an actual movement or if someone is making this up as they go along. I regret deleting the reviews. I should have allowed those ones to be posted so I could warn people. I thought people were just trying to bully me because of my stories.

Also, Zim fan fiction writers like us have been keeping the Zim fandom alive and thriving for many years, no matter what we write or how we write them. Bullies are pathetic. People, fan fiction writers are allowed to have CREATIVE FREEDOMS, and that's a message that needs to be spread. They need to respect other writers' perspectives on the show. They just might learn something. Plus, if everyone thought the same thing and wrote every fic the same way, that would just be boring in my opinion. Variety is the spice of life. Don't give up on your fics, and continue writing them!

This means whether you ship ZADR, ZAGR, ZATR, DATR, PAGR, SAGR, whatever your ship is. This means whatever genre you choose to write your Zim fic; horror, fantasy, drama, comedy, supernatural. And who cares if your story is a little bit OOC?! In most cases, that's called character development! People are allowed to change! Need I remind people that none of us are Jhonen Vasquez, we just love to write about his work! KEEP ON WRITING! Hey, this is kinda random but I looked and Invader Zim category on Fanfiction.net is home to 10,900 some stories...LET'S TRY TO GET IT PAST 11,000 FICS, PEOPLE!

We need to keep encouraging other writers in the Zim fandom and helping them out, and we need to leaving nice and encouraging reviews. That's what keeps the fandom alive. That's what keeps Invader Zim alive. Passionate fans like us. Fanfics are mean to inspire people, and to help them through tough times. It helps us forget about our mundane lives and takes our mind on an adventure!

Anyways...To be clear, the only things I don't encourage reading/writing are fics that come off as creepy or disturbing, (and not in a good way if you know what I mean), and fics that encourage animal cruelty. People like that are sick.

Other than that, keep writing.

I look forward to reading good fics and having a good time. I have a great sense of humor and love of reading (what a dangerous combination!)
