Wow. I have been looking for an Invader Zim fic with this kind of plot for a while. I was beginning to think about writing my own, but I'm so glad I stumbled across your story first. It's been an absolute joy to read. Everyone is in character and even the OCs fit into the story very well. THANK YOU!

I like the Older Dib and Still Short Zim dynamic. To me, that is the most realistic take of "what would the future be like" on this show.

This is not the typical ZADR-like fic, and thank god. I love how you managed to put subtle hints in there without it being a full blown emo-whiny-sex-fest. As you put it in the fic, Dib and Zim were neither friends nor enemies, but something in between. Perfect balance for something so fragile and odd as these two characters relationship, whatever it may be. For that, kudos to you.

amazing as usual! this one came off as more of a zadr to me (idk why unless u intended for it to resemble a zadr). anyways i love your stories and you need to write more invader zim. Your the best writer on here and id rather read your invader zim stories then anyone elses (sorry everyone else). The only thing that bothered me was that zim was so goddamn short (though thats not ur fault. He is naturally short in the series). Oh and btw u are the only author i like that can put a oc in and i wont bitch about it because ur oc's always fit somehow. Good story and again please write more invader zim.

Whoo! Just found this story now, and i have to say it ROCKS! i love how you made all the characters into very believable grown-up versions of themselves. The one relationship that i normally have trouble believing is anything positive between Dib and Gaz, but you did a beautiful job of portraying their past as simple sibling rivalry. i love the ideas behind this story, how Dib and Gaz would grow up and change very much, but Zim would still be the same as when he and Dib were in school. Its very hard to find stories where the characters actually mature realistically as they age but this was perfect. Another thing i like is how you made Zim. A lot of fics portray him as able to grow and mature (both in size and mentality) without realizing that he is in fact already fully grown. This was so beautiful it actually brought tears to my eyes in the last few chapters. Incredible! And i loved the ending. Absolutely LOVED it! The last few lines made me laugh, but i think at the same time summed everything up so perfectly. Beautiful story!

I think this story was the most I've ever cried in. Really. I'm a stupid emotinal...thing.

Anyway. This, was, gold. I read it from 11:30 to six in the morning, and with a headache. I did not want to, 'put the book down', so to speck.
