So it’s 2020 and I’m struck again at how well this is written. I’ve been and sonic fan since 1995. My first memories were of the sega genesis and sonic the hedgehog. I wanna say is was about 1997-99 that I became a SonAmy fan. Sonic adventure and sonic adventure 2 brought that out in me. Then when SonicX hit my Saturday morning I fell in love all over again. I’d record the episodes on my vhs (and still have the original recordings) and at some point in time I stumbled upon this fanfic. I cried, I felt joy, I felt so many things while reading this. And here I am again re-reading it and finding myself reliving every emotion. Thank you for writing this and portraying it in a way that 4kids could not. Thank you! Helping me out again during covid19 with some solid reading!

Man, I realize it has been ten years since this was published, and the author has likely moved on to other interests, but I have to say, if you’re still out there, this is unequivocally my favorite Sonic-Amy story. The raw emotional power conveyed exceeded all my expectations, and I very much appreciated your gorgeous alternative perspective on the events of the Metarex saga of Sonic X. In particular, Sonic’s interaction with Tails after the death of Cosmo did not evoke any strong emotions when I first watched the anime, but upon reading your portrayal of the conversation in this story, I was also left reaching for a Kleenex box. I really think you nailed all the personalities: Amy was way more complex Sonic than just a fangirl is infatuated with Sonic’s heroism, and Sonic is more complex than just an infallible, omnipotent hero. This dynamic gave rise to some moments that, though they did ramble on a bit too long in some parts, were extremely powerful and touching. Thank you very much for sharing this story.

This is 10 years old. It's been just about that long since the very first time I fell into the clutches of the amazing pairing that is SonAmy, and I've never let go of it since.

I know that being in and participating in the Sonic fandom in this day and age is considered by a lot of people to be embarrassing or cringey or whatever. I have no idea how you feel about having written this fic now, or even if you care about Sonic X anymore. But on the off chance that you do, I just want to let you know that this is an incredible piece of art, and I hope with all of my being that you never regret claiming it.

I am in awe of your writing style. It's so fluid, easy to follow and endlessly beautiful. This is definitely the highest quality work I have read for this fandom, hands down - and I've read 10 years' worth of it! Your characterizations of every single character are spot on - everything, down the structure of their thoughts and the quirks in their dialogue. It's been years since I've watched season 3 of Sonic X, but I could still picture everything so vividly that it's hard to believe I haven't just read canon material. I feel like Amy is and has always been a character that too many people dismiss as the annoying fangirl, and I'm so grateful that you've given her justice in this fic and portrayed her as the strong, compassionate, loving character she really is. And, wow, your rendition of Sonic! Usually, Sonic being sentimental or emotional in fics strikes me as OOC and stretches my suspension of disbelief a bit too far, but you wove all of it so smoothly into his character that I don't think I'll ever be able to accept any other interpretation of him again. This is the first thing I've read from your account and it's a decade old, yet it's absolutely breathtaking. Please tell me you haven't stopped writing - I can't even imagine how you've improved since this! I'm definitely going to be going through your profile afterwards and reading everything else you've ever written. Do you have accounts on any other fanfiction sites? (I'm kind of an Ao3 elitist, lmao.)

Anyway, I'm sorry for the rambling, and I'm sorry if this makes no sense, and I'm sorry if this is something you've entirely forgotten/repressed and you have no idea what I'm even talking about. All of this is just to say that I was honestly, truly in tears by the end of this fic. So I just want to thank you - for writing this fic, for giving these characters the recognition and care they deserve, for bringing back the nostalgia of my childhood, for gifting me an afternoon of wonderful butterflies and rolling around on my bed, for understanding the love I have for this pairing, for creating something that would be just as precious and important to me whether I had discovered it at age 8 or age 18.

I LOVED THIS SO MUCH! I honestly can't emphasize enough how much I love this story. It's definitely one of the best Sonic stories I have ever read. The writing was brilliant even though there were a few mistakes here and there , it didn't effect the story much. The pace and character development was outstanding , I felt like I was watching the characters growing more was in character which is hard to achieve in my opinion. I still can't believe I haven't read this before. I know it's been a couple of years since you wrote this story ,but please know how amazing your writing skills are. Thank you for this wonderful fic:):)

Wow. Just...wow. (First, sorry for my english. I'm studing to improve it ;) )This is the second time I've read this story and it touched my feelings all over again. What other explanation can I give to say that this story is so intense that made me cry, laugh and get to unexpected limits of my nerves twice!? If you don't mind I would love to do a comic version of it, of course giving you all the credits for creating this outstanding peace of art! I love it and I recomend it to everyone who loves or have ever loved Sonic x and the so cute pairing Sonamy. If you had stopped this story will bring those feelings back.

Wow just wow this is a piece of historical juicy sonic ness wow have I ever read as anything as heart warming and as exciting as this my whole time here I read every day because I get intensely into the store and feel every feeling the characters feel and with this I feel like a different person thank you for this post and live a happy life.

This is seriously the most beautiful Sonamy fanfic I have ever read! I couldn't help but cry several times throughout the chapter. And I love how you added that quote Amy said in Sonic X, and that just made me cry even more because it gave such a nice touch to end the story. I have seen and heard great things about this story, but I kept putting it off because I wanted to finish watching the Sonic X series since I actually never got around to finishing or watching the whole series. But I'm so glad I finally get to read this. Wonderful job on this story!
