I am so sorry for zim

Like, I know it's a one shot
I know it was posted years ago
But...ouch
I want more, you can't just end it with the implied death of Zim, that's so sad
Yeah I guess you did give us Saving Zim years later which is amazing, but this...it's so bitter sweet...Zim just seemingly accepting his death, and Dib being a decent frenemy and staying with him as he fades into the void...it's so sad, so well written, so powerful

I do not know how to feel about this.

Positive feelings. I mean the ending.

But it’s still sweet.

I did not actually expect that end. There's a beauty to an end like that, actually, where you know exactly what's going to happen and exactly how each person feels/will feel about it, but you don't show it. Bravo.

This story was incredible, like usual. I feel so sorry for Zim, but at least he didn't die onscreen, if you know what I mean. And it was refreshing to see Zim act so friendly towards Dib. I dunno why I like that, though. I hope you're doing okay, by the way.

The joy of a good short story is its brevity. There's no waiting on the next chapter, it's all there. The sad part is that it's over, like Zim and Dib and all their battles. I really am amazed at how touchingly you manage to write these two.

Oh my goodness gracious, this is sad. However, it is beautifully written. You have a lovely writing style.
When Dib was headed down into the base, I was sure he'd find Zim already dead, but this was even sadder.
Great job on this story! I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Damn, it's a shame that Zim's getting to meet his maker soon enough but at least he won't die alone, gotta give Dib credit to at lease ensure that his worst enemy has a dignified death.
