I gotta say, torture-porn isn't really my thing (not a kink, that's literally what it's called, lol), but considering how lackluster Forces' actual execution was, this has been MUCH more dramatically gratifying. I mean, if you are even going to suggest the idea of Sonic being "tortured for MONTHS! :D" without even going 1/4 as far as you did here, then what was even the point of suggesting it in the first place? You're going really far for this one, like really REALLY far, but it's still pretty worth it to see those little moments of peace and hope that Sonic gets here and there (particularly with the SonAmy stuff, that's my weakness right there!), and especially those Dark Sonic moments as well (what can I say, the DBZ fan/inner-middleschooler in me is a sucker for that kind of stuff). Like OOOF! What will really make all of this worth it is to see how you get Sonic to the point where he's finally got enough of himself put back together so we can at least understand why he's acting all hunky dory during the events of Forces, and then maybe finally get some moments of vulnerability, closure, and peace with Amy. Because by gods, after all the stuff he's gone through in this story, he really deserves it. Gotta say tho, this definitely justifies why he's beating the shit out of Zavok after he breaks out, lol. Hope to see more from you soon!

Short but sweet and oooh, that ending though. I hope infinite gets his ass handed to him on a silver platter for what he’s doing to poor Sonic. Time to join the Shadow hype squad me thinks.

Oh look at that, my heart has been impaled. Love love love that you had a semi-happy ending to a chapter, and it also managed to fit in with the rest of the story!

The whole mind link thing was so cool and I really hope we get to see more of it later. Infinite really wanted to just piss him off but at least he’s learned to be more careful around Sonic the fluffiest spawn of satan XD

Eggman and Infinite are so interesting to readthey really have a father/son dynamic in the worst way and I can feel the tether holding them together is starting to break. Great job on this chappie!

Hooo, that countdown really had me on the edge of my seat wondering if he was going to be heroically objective or not. Nicely done! And of course Eggy wasn’t gonna keep to his word tchhh

This chapter was a nice change of pace after the intensity of the others. The stakes were still just as high, but in a completely different way. Infinites plotting away but tbh, I’m rooting for him to break away from Eggman idek why.
