Author has written 14 stories for Harry Potter, Twilight, and Vampire Diaries. Hi all, I figured it was time to redo my profile. I have been writing off and on since I was in high school, if I wasn't writing it down, I was daydreaming smutty stories about my favourite bands and always making up different endings or different pairings from books and TV. I am a huge lover of HP, Dramione is my first love, but I also love a good Death Eater story. I don't follow canon pairings because if that were what I wanted, I'd read the books. I have also begun to read Twilight stories, Jazzella is my jam, and I also love a good TVD/Twilight crossover. Peace, Love, and Slyther, Gimi aka Jess Life has taken hold of me and class for my degree is more demanding, so my upload schedule is a bit out of the window. Can I just take this moment to ask my readers to please remember that writers of fan fiction do not get paid, they do not have their computers, phones, tablets or whatever people use to write, strapped to their hands and always writing. We do it because we love the fandom and love to see where things may have gone if it were up to us. Please do not message or review your favourite authors DEMANDING updates. That is very rude and uncalled for. Now, this is not pertaining to my readers; I have got to be the luckiest girl in the world because I have such loving readers. I have never once received more than an "Omg, please update soon!" but I am aware of many authors, big and small, who have been getting crappy messages demanding they work on one fic or another. First off, don't demand, we do this for fun, because we love to write and share, but demanding makes it not fun and, in my case, will force me to pull it all and only write for my eyes only. Some of these writers are well loved, I don't want to see beautiful fics taken away because of demanding reviewers or readers. Second, please review, especially if you see that it is a writer who is just starting. Please send words of love and encouragement. Sometimes writers are very fresh and need guidance, if you find you can't help but leave a critique, please send it in a message. Again, try and be helpful, not a jerk. Sometimes people just forget how to spell a word, or a shop isn't there, or a spell wouldn't work like that. Reviews nitpicking an author is like eating a meal that a restaurant comped you, telling them it sucked and then expecting free dessert (my analogy is probably rubbish, but you get my point). I don't expect my reviews to sing praise out of my arse, or anyone else's, but chose a good way to express without demeaning, demanding, and basically making an ass out of yourself. Share the love for the people whom gift you with the world you chose to submerse yourself in. They will be more likely to give back to you. Cassie is still my primary story and does get priority over my other fics I have going on. Bonds that Reveal is my new Thormione and is a close second to Cassie. Secrets and Lies has been moved to *On hiatus status because I have gotten such a good response to Cassie, I feel that I need to continue that story line and I haven't been able to summon my muse to help on that story at this time. |
