To reviewer below: it's not whether we like Hermione/draco or not, it's sheer deluded stupidity of vast majority of these stories. As stated many ridiculous writers go to extreme lengths to 'legitimize' a 'relationship' between these two DESPITE his bullying & general abuse of people - ESPECIALLY muggleborns!
To most informed readers this is tantamount to a Jewish holocaust survivor being pushed into a pairing with a vicious Nazi officer or Hitler Youth leader.
So as quora postings mentioned, abuse is no foundation for any relationships. If your willing to ignore that fact then don't waste our time with 'we like them reviews' - it shows you for silly fan girl joke you actually are.

For me, there is absolutely no daylight between Cormac McLaggen and Draco Malfoy. Hermione rebuffs the lusting attentions of one possessive, arrogant, sex-addicted man, only to turn around and allow herself to be swept into bed by (and presumably eventually marry)... another possessive, arrogant, sex-addicted man.

Absolutely loved this! I read it every spare moment I had. I cried when they broke up, when Scorpius' first owl died, when we found out Narcissa was dying; it was all so very good!

I fucking loved this story. I know I’m SUUUUUPER late to reading it but I’m in tears that it’s ended. I know all good things must come to an end but i REALLY didn’t want this story to end.

Draco came round in a room that reminded him of hospital wing of Hogwarts.
He couldn't really move much. Glancing down he saw below his lower abdomen he was heavily bandaged.
'Good morning Mister Malfoy!' a very familiar bushy haired brunette 'nurse' exclaimed opening a door. The term nurse Draco used only loosely in his head, as he doubted any actual muggle nurses would wear a uniform that short or THAT revealing.
Or made of those muggle materials that had no wizarding counterparts .. ah yes he remembered now latex, spandex and that PCV plastic stuff that Blaise was always raving on about.
The 'Nurse Danger' badge completed the bizarre spectacle. She was also ridiculously chirpy which wasn't normal for Dang .. , err, Granger.
'Those strong pain numbing potions will be wearing off soon' she stated.
'What potions?!' Draco said breaking his silence.
'The ones you had after your castration of course!' she smirked.
Malfoy junior was beyond horrifically aghast. Castration would mean a total end to the family line. All his surviving French cousins were females.
'Wwwhaart!' he managed to splutter out 'YOU HAVE REMOVED MY TESTICLES!?'
'OH, of course or NOT!' replied Granger. Draco breathed a sigh of relief. It had all been a hideous bizarre prank ..
'I never actually touched you! Hagrid did the actual operation - he's had plenty of practice on problem thestrals. And unfortunately he was a little heavy handed with the meat cleaver, kebab skewers & that rusty spoon" she continued with a bigger grin spreading "And it wasn't just your testicles - he accidentally removed your entire genitalia!' holding up a clear muggle bag containing some very familiar organs to Draco's face.
Totally speechless his hand shot to his wrapped groin - only to find it empty of contents.
'Perhaps you'll be less aggressive & nasty now?' she quipped and left, her shapely thong clad arse swaying as she did so.
Not that the former Slytherin school'boy' had anything left to appreciate that very sexy sight.

I have to agree with an earlier review on here: you're piling on the angst, and I think it's to the story's detriment. Although I am curious to see how Harry will react. If he'll try to protect Hermione.

Why does Cormac remind me of Christopher from Gilmore Girls?

I really don't like the idea of the whiskey flask. He is symbolically trying to tempt her down to his level, even change Hermione so that she plays it more loose. Granted, you have to be loose, to jump into bed with someone, but if Draco really has feelings for her, he wouldn't try to change her just to have an easier time of seducing her. He should meet Hermione at her own comfort level, and romance on her on their own merits.
