I can't believe I ever thought I would outgrow this...

I've been toying with the idea of erasing my Teen Titans fics, but, for now, have decided to leave them. Over the years, some stories I liked have dissapeared on me, removed by their authors, and it's always annoyed me. Also, I had too much fun writting those fics to bear the thought of them dissapearing into nothing. (or wherever it is things in Internet go when they die) I ocassionally get new reviews, so I guess people are still reading them and that makes me very happy. I'll settle for saying that I was a very different person--and quite younger--when I wrote those stories, and wouldn't necessarily stand by them now.

My CCS stuff, however, I still like. The whole reason I'm even updating my profile is because I intend to post more CCS stories. It seems I simply can't stop dreaming up all the ways the sweet, wonderful world of Sakura Card Captors could get screwed up. I guess it's true, what they say about first love... CCS was the fandom that originally attracted me to fanfiction, maybe 10 years ago.

I apologize to anyone who waited for that GAD epilogue; I hope some day I'll sit down to write it, but the chances seem pretty thin. (Specially now, that canon sorta kinda caught up to it) I can't even remember how I intended to end it in the first place... I think I locked Batgirl up... I would soooo like to finish it, though. The fact that it's floating out there in cyberspace, half-done, drives me nuts.

Ah, someday...

UPDATE 15/10/10

Uploaded a new story for the Alice in Wonderland movie by Tim Burton. It's a one-shot, and a little silly, but sweet. It's Alice's letter to her mother, saying goodbye. I got the idea from reading too many AiW fics in which Alice stamps 'goodbye' on a post-it note and is off to Wonderland. I'm not saying that doesn't work in some fics, because it does...it just made me think about what Alice might write if she had all the time in the world to pen a goodbye. It's longer than a post-it note, that's for sure... I like to think Alice's Mom is nicer and more open-minded than we can see in the movies. After all, she did marry Alice's Dad, didn't she? And we know that man was nuts... The title of the fic is 'Burning Bridges', which is an awful, trite title, but what do you want? I've no ability at all to assining titles to anything. I'm seriously considering just numbering my fics and leaving it at that...

I'm also working on a longer AiW one-shot, but that is faaaaar from finished. Closer to completion is a one-shot for CCS, though I might end up posting it in three parts, because it's so long for a single post! Over 16,000 words and there's still some more to go... It's about Sakura, waiting for Syaoran, and... well, you'll see when it's finished. It's completely canon, which I know it's terribly out of fashion in the CCS section as of late, but there you go... Canon used to be all the rage, back in the day... I'm trying my best not to title it 'Waiting', but nothing else jumps to mind...

Last but not least, I'm doing a fic based on the Prince of Persia movie. That one's almost done, by which I mean, every bit's been written, I just have to figure out how to piece it together time-wise (because Time is soooo important in that world, isn't it?) and whether I still need to write some bridges and stuff to hold it together...
