penandra chapter 6 . 3/25/2016
Powerful every time I've read it. I always wonder how Ferguson's disappearance is explained or investigated, but then go on and finish Chapter 6. :-)
GalaxieGurl chapter 6 . 1/15/2015
Heavy dark storyline, but well told and skillfully plotted. Quite memorable one I will re-read often.

I've read this about a hundred times. I love it. It's truly my favorite story.

This is seriously one of m all time favorite stories and I recommend it to all my friends in the Bones world.
Suzanne chapter 6 . 2/18/2012
As your other stories, this was really good.

I liked the different, first-person, stream-of-consciousness-style.

I also liked the dark Booth you have written. It is often ignored in a lot of ff stories that Booth is after all, a trained killer. One with a conscience and one who does not kill needlessly, but nevertheless one who still kills when necessary. You have presented the reasons for this very well through his inner monologues. And the Greek choir was even funny.

Good chapter
Amilyn chapter 6 . 7/17/2010
This is powerful and painful and bitter and sharp-edged and brilliant. I think you did an excellent job with Booth's dark ops work in the recon, in the ductwork, looking up the files, stealing surveillance tapes, planning what to tell folks about security breaches... And Brennan *knowing* and waiting and giving him space and accepting his plan and going along with it is believable and unsettling, along with Booth's plan itself. Well done.
BandBfan chapter 6 . 6/29/2010
Am going through your stories...Love your work as always

I don't know the episode(s) but there is one or two references to Brennan having something to do with the when Bren goes to Third World countries for anthropological digs.

I was always surprised no one picked up on this, now I know someone has! Great story, a refreshing change from the usual B&B fair.

Thank you for this story

ChristinaAngel chapter 6 . 1/8/2010
This writing style was brilliant for Booth, especially angsty Booth. The italics showing almost the most private of Booth's thoughts, the things that crossed his mind for a second but he pushed away because they are memories from the past which he doesn't want to think about.

I loved the Greek Chorus, Booth being haunted by the ghosts of his past is very canon, at least I think so. And how he still tried to protect Bones with plausible deniability but she knew anyway. I love how perfect they are for each other and how you showed that, with Bones knowing when to follow Booth's instructions and how strong she is.
Kalidris chapter 6 . 11/19/2009
Interesting perspective and an even more interesting story. I always wondered what Booth might be capable of, being an ex-ranger and a sniper, and I think now I know it. Great work :)
