Hello, you've reached the profile of SimplyWaters. I'm a fairly young (mid 20's) male who decided to try his hand at writing. The overwhelmingly positive feedback I've received has only kept me going and growing. Those who comment on any and all of my stories I thank you and hope that you will be honest, if I screwed up somewhere let me know so that I can keep the stories enjoyable and consistent. Couple of different stories going right now, here's my priority:

'Between Fire and Ice', Chrono Trigger: A quick off-shoot (well... kinda quick) that will be covering a pair of my favorite video game heroes finally coming together despite the game creators effort to keep them apart. Romance, drama, and intrigue abound and I'm hoping to get some feedback as this isn't really my forte, but I'm willing to go all out! CronoxLucca, no time jumping.

Status: Planning more chapters, just having trouble actually you know... writing them... I've been re-reading and going over my notes and chapters so far, probably still be a while before I start uploading again for this story though.

'Fantasy's Call', Code Geass: Focused around Kallen and the student council playing an MMO that I based around a mixture of DnD, WoW, and several Manga's (Yeureka, 1/2 Prince, .hack, ect.). Watch as our heroes rise to glory in the hottest, most realistic MMO ever played! Of course once the headsets come off they'll be spending time thwarting (or just getting stuck in) Milly's random events, learning more about each other, and falling in love.

Status: Chilling on the backburner. Honestly I probably won't mess with this much right now, perhaps start it over from scratch and re-post as I'm already feeling like I've painted myself into a corner. Also a lot of this story is pretty transparent if you know what to look for, which feels wrong for a Code Geass story. I don't feel like I've really gotten the hang of writing a genius like Lelouch yet and it really hampers the writing process (would he do this? or this? well this would be cool but isn't quite sneaky/brilliant enough...). Still haven't given up, more like admitted I can't bring the idea completely to life yet (thus I must... PRACTICE!).

'Welcome to Pandora': Originally I was planning to dip into a cross-over of Borderlands and Fate/Stay night. However now I'm actually planning to do a pure Borderlands story with original characters, something I have never had much success with (Oddly enough cause I have no talent for naming characters. Backstory? no problem. Motives? Easy. Personality Quirks? Overflowing. Name? Helpless, infuriatingly so.). Currently I have enough material for a couple chapters, but am holding off till I'm pretty much done with the story to start posting so I can't be tempted to let it fall to the side and die like the rest.

Status: Currently being written, will be posting when I have the majority of the story written.

Planned stories:

WoW x-over of some kind. Cause Wow is Awesome... even when it steals my soul, money, and time.

Harry Potter story focused around Azkaban prison. Mostly because I loved the way the prisons were set up in "The Chronicles of Riddick" and the thought of hundreds of wizards living in sealed off wings of the fortress dodging dementors, fighting for scarce resources, and finding ways to use what little magic they can had potential. I was planning to go into things like: the construction of magical focuses, similar to a wand but more primitive and only really capable of small things, like drawing the next thing. Runes. And building on the idea popular in HP fiction that a wizards magic tries to keep them alive.

Completed stories:

'One little Consequence': Based on Hinata joining team 7 through her own efforts after hearing the probable team set-ups.

Status: Dead. So very, very dead. Also part of the reason I haven't been posting much since. With the constant wild swings in the narrative and plot developments I didn't bother planning for this story went from very enjoyable for my readers to a complete disaster (I still smile when I remember how one reader mentioned reading the story to their kids... and then I get horrified by how dark and sad the story started to turn out, not the message I was hoping to send when I started the story.)

'One little Oversight': My first story, Post R2 focusing on Lelouch and Kallen. This story needs work, more work then you can imagine. But as it was my first work I will not be taking it down even if I no longer plan to do anything with it.

I haven't stopped writing... well, I haven't stopped planning out fics but I haven't been getting much on paper... digital paper anyway. I've still got the itch but I might not be posting for some time yet while I work back into writing and maybe even write out several chapters ahead of time to keep from running into these dry spells so much. I'm still reading a lot so hopefully I break this current slump soon.
