a great chapter

Gilford was about tell her the expression that would Bradley(knight of the round) jealous. I’m kinda curious is she watches the news or reads the newspapers and if she’d find some sort of rational explanation, ie it’s his first kill as far as she knows, shock, fear, fear of being killed himself or others being killed, a lot of moving parts, etc.

To lelouch’s friends, the act of killing is shocking much the sequence of events and his expression on his face after killing him I theoretically think. Granted Suzaku isn’t in his normal mood either, but he can shake it off at this point.

I love how Cornelia really dotes on Lelouch! She really cares for him, this part of her we did not get to see in the anime.

Ummm... Doesn't all people in the Royal family have the name "something Britannia"? And yet no one seems to recognize Lelouch (I say that because the instructor said something about him and Suzaku impressing someone higher up and I thought, this would have made sense for Suzaku, but you know the head of military is Lelouch's sister? What's the surprise?) This also means that you actually need to say the middle name to identify a prince & princess or they get all mixed up. Also, with Marianne this famous everyone would have known her last name, and combine that with the fact Lelouch actually kept his given name, the possibility of him and Nunnally being found out (wayyy before this fic happened, possibly during his first week at school) would've been veeerrry high.
Also it sort of peeved me that Lelouch can pilot better than Suzaku (because that's just,? Kicking ass the physical way is supposed to be Suzaku's job! Lulu isn't a character focusing on that, half of his charm is in his (relative) deficiency as a fighter as opposed to everything intellectual. Just imagine Suzaku the chess genius & scheming tactician on top of being the Lancelot's ace pilot), but that's probably just me. I guess you could argue that his mother's genes kicked in after real training, but seriously, in canon he had life &death scenarios to train in and couldn't come close.
Anyway... I'm enjoying the story so far, but a lot(seriously, a lot) of small problems like these keep cropping up every so often. Maybe it'll get better as I go on?
So if you're after a serious read and cares a lot about plot holes and such, go off to Dauntless. If not, my advice would be to read on, you'll enjoy!
