I reread this on LJ today, and had to tell you again how wonderful it is. And the last line makes me laugh.

This remake has ruined me. I'm not even finished with it yet, and I can't even tell you how much I've loved playing it. Now, here I am, feeding this need with your fanfic that I read TEN YEARS AGO because it's the best fanfic out there, and I'm sure I'll obsess over it for who really knows how long-and then we'll have to wait another 1-3 years before the next installment of the remake, which really kills me inside because as of now I can't wait that long. UGH.

ANYWAY. With all that being said, this first chapter of this story is the best. I love it so much. The characterization is beautiful, the insight into Cloud's feelings, Tifa and Cloud's budding romance, Cloud's delightful teasing, how Tifa challenges him (literally kills me every time because you are basically reading my thoughts in that paragraph) and Barrett being Barrett. I'm sure I'll go get lost in all your fic while I avoid finishing the remake. I'll be lurking like a creep, and I'll probably leave reviews because I have a lot of feelings.

I hope you're doing well and thriving! Especially during this weird pandemic time. I can't believe it's been 10 years since I fell into the hole of FFVII fanfic. It was my first love that introduced me to writing, and your writing, and damn if it isn't still so sweet coming back to it all these years later. It's crazy. I'm drowning in nostalgia and emotion.

ALSO, you wrote a book?! OMG? I will buy it! Take my money!

You are lovely and amazing. Thank you for leaving all your fic here for us plebeians to continue enjoying. Your stories smack my heart like a slap-but a really good slap. The best slap. Like the kind of slaps that wake you up to the world again. Okay, I'm done. LOL.

These are all so in character and charming and reminds me why I love these two - they carry the weight we expect them to after everything they've been through and it's an intrinsic part of their relationship - two people who have been on the same traumatic journey who come to trust in each others presence to move forward - they're each others rock. I can't believe how long it's taken me to find this. I doubt you will look back and read through these considering how long it's been, but gotta say I love it

I’m surprised I haven’t reviewed this yetmaybe my last review was so far back I can’t find them. I just wanted to let you know that, literally a decade after I read these stories for the first time, I still find myself coming back to this drabble collection to relax and get lost in stories. These are some of my favorite drabbles, and I’m glad they’re still here for me to come back to and enjoy.
