So, I guess I should put up at least a little about myself since I actually had the courage to post a story, so here goes.

I'm pretty boring, really. I like reading, drawing, surfing the net for odd things. Pretty hum drum. I love cartoons in a way that is almost disgusting, seeing as how I'm almost forty and a woman to boot. I'll give almost anything animated a chance, but my favorites will always be the Simpsons, Futurama, and Xmen:Evolution. Weirdly inconsistent maybe, but I've been reading Xmen since the mid eighties and that cartoon was the bomb!

Books would have to be narrowed by authors. Charlaine Harris of course is my favorite. George Martin, whose 'Game of Thrones' is also coming to HBO, is another. Chuck Palahniuk, A. Lee Martinez, and Christopher Moore round out my top five. But if suggested I'll read, just about anything. And a lot of fanfiction, anything SVM, True Blood or Xmen.

Movies are tougher to narrow. Anything Pixar and Studio Ghibli put out. The Simpson's Movie. Hmmmmm... Fight Club, The Game...David Fincher's another favorite. Akira. Ghost in the Shell, Brazil, Fargo. The Xmen Movies, not including the Last Stand. Most recently True Grit, The King's Speech and Despicable Me.

Television would start with the Simpson's of course, with Futurama not far behind. True Blood, no question. Family Guy, Venture Bros. (Adult Swim in general), Archer, Being Human, Food Network shows...things like that. Those are just the shows still running. Pushing Daisies and Arrested Development were ended too soon.

Pairings... For SVM and True Blood I'm a traditional Sookie and Eric fan. Not a Bill fan at all. I can imagine her with Alcide but Eric is still number one. With Xmen, my favorite character has always been and will always be Rogue, no matter who she is with. But I'm mainly a Romy (Rogue and Remy) fan. I like Ryro (Pyro and Rogue) in the movies, but only because there was no Gambit in the Xmen except for origins, and I don't like her with Bobby (they make good friends, but not a couple). I am also a big fan of Rogneto (Rogue and Magneto) and think he is the only man she is really supposed to be with other then Remy. The Rogan (Rogue and Logan) thing is just a little weird for me, but I do read them if they are funny enough. I prefer Logan with Ororo or even Mystique, never Jean. I know, I'm obsessing too much.
