I'm glad that after all the people who cared about Marie enough to threaten John not to hurt her, that there was someone that cared enough about John to threaten Marie.

I love this story, it's so beautiful and happy! i absolutly love happy endings and am glad that you gave John and Marie theirs. You're writing and style and characterization is amazing and I enjoyed the relationships between all the characters (espiecally John and 'Aunt Misty'). I can't wait to read more of your stories.

That was an AMAZING story, I was crying at the end and some parts through its full of emotion and the way you wrote it made me feel everything. :P Doesn't help im listening to 'Crash and burn' by savage garden (very good song!)And once again I Say AMAZING! lol.

I have so much love for this story! I didn't really like John in the movies, but now I'm seeing him in a whole new light. You've converted me to Ryro!

Damn, I LOVE this story! There's not enough Pyro/Rogue fic, and not nearly enough good Pyro/Rogue fic, and this is both! Any chance of more, sometime?

I think what I liked best is that, in some ways, this is exactly what Charles Xavier dreamed of - that you could live the life YOU choose, no matter if you're mutant or not. That you can work to overcome your mistakes, and be judged on what you do now, rather than what you used to be.

Your versions of Rogue and Pyro, are so very THEM, just older and wiser, which is great. I liked how John kept thinking and/or saying things which scared him shitless, but said or thought them nonetheless because he was mature enough to know he meant them. I especially liked 'Aunt Misty'; it was nice to know that there really was some true affection in the Brotherhood. Also John turning down the invite to join the X-men, and Marie understanding why.

The proposal was just lovely. It wasn't some romantic dream, but it was what Marie wanted. Emphasises that everyone has a different idea of what makes them happy. And the bit where John spends weeks asking Logan for Marie's hand in marriage was very snicker-worthy; not to mention, it underscored that Logan had passed up the chance to be Marie's romantic interest to become her family (which is a theme I worked on in one of my Ryro fics). And as an Australian myself, I LOVED Marie having the golden wattle in her bridal bouquet.

Ohmygosh, I loved this.
