Wow. Eric went way too far. He humiliated Sookie semi publicly when before it was a private lovers game. That was low, even for him. She would have had every right to tell him so, demand an apology in front of everyone and then leave. She may stick her foot in her mouth a lot, but this was just mean.

Of course Eric isn't going to bother telling Sookie anything. He doesn't care THAT much. Respect for Sookie isn't necessary. Eric needs to practice his grovelling, not to mention tackling his issue with honesty.

Unless he just likes hurting Sookie and enjoys finding excuses to do it.

This story is weird. It's like you can't figure out which direction you're wanting to go it. If you're wanting to be funny, be funny. If you're wanting it to be dramatic, be dramatic. At this point it's just an annoying dog's breakfast.

So Eric couldn't give a shit less that Sookie is exhausted and needs to go to bed because it's more important to drag her off to his disgusting bar after she's already worked that day? How very "romantic".

So Eric stood around and let a strange vampire paw at Sookie just to get his rocks off?
