You do realize that now I have to check your profile to see if you wrote any more stories with Cole in the last seven years. And his parents, of course. That kid is the most adorable Romy child I have EVER seen. *thinks* Admittedly the number of stories where they have a kid, that I have read, is still small… I should work on that… but Cole would probably win regardless. :D

I would hypothetically love a missing scene between Rogue and Cole on the plane. She always wanted to stay, even before she got his powers for the night; she just needs her kid to give her that last little nudge.

Then again, maybe the toy train gift already did that. :')

I forgot to say last chapter that I *mostly* forgive Sarah, since she's obviously withdrawn the blackmail, and now she's using her words (ha) with Remy like she should have done in the first place.

I thought Rogue had gotten Cole's memory of the boxcar conversation for a minute—still hope she did, honestly, she needs to see how good Remy was—but no, it's the empathy, and Remy loves her so much she could feel it all the way down the hall. Wow.

I almost—ALMOST—feel sorry for Joseph. But you know what? This isn't his story. :)

Ooh, low blow, Sarah. On the other hand, when Rogue and Gambit are this… hmm… willfully dense, sometimes they need a shove in the right direction. *Somebody* had to tell Joseph. (Also, c'mon Remy, that is NOT what friends with benefits are for, that's just rude.)

I note there are two photo albums. Are they, by any chance, identical? You know… just in case a certain person did want one? :)

Oh, Joseph is a sweet guy and all, he's just not the sweet guy FOR ROGUE. :D I've only read a couple of his comics stories. I guess I can see Remy getting pouty over the love triangle bit though. He's matured a lot over the years, but most of it was AFTER the whole Antarctica mess.

Still can't get my head around Remy dating Marrow. I guess they're not that far apart in age, even in the comics (by the time Marrow turns up in the comics) but, history again. :)

Bobby and Kitty are excellent rodeo clowns. The X-mansion really needs a few of those at times!

First: thanks for writing and sharing such an interesting story :D! But I have to say, if a story EVER seriously-SERIOUSLY NEEDED-NEEDED* another character's POV telling of it, it IS-[bold, highlight, size-35-font, jazzy-glow italics]HANDSDOWN-NO doubt-This. Very. One! I've read this story at least 3x? And, much to my frustration, I can't ever figure out why Remy treats Rogue the way he does. I just can't imagine why he behave as he does :{. Actually, immediately* after my very first read-through, I thought: *This story NEEDS~(!) to tell it from Remy's perspective* (and this was before I ever even learned that varying POV stories exist)! Hope to read more from this world you've created -. Happy dreamin' up and writin' .!
