Call me StarEyed, or Star. I'm British, so for you Americans out there I'm not spelling things wrong, honest! Well, most of the time anyway. Spelling never was my strong point, but that's why I use spellcheck.

Favourite Shows/Books etc: Stargate SG1, Stargate Atlantis, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Harry Potter, Sailor Moon, Oh My Goddess, Ranma 1/2, Naruto, Tenchi Muyo, Wheel of Time, Marion Zimmer Bradley's Darkover Series, Alias, Anita Blake, Star Wars, Dragonball Z, numerous other sci-fi/fantasy books.

Dislikes: The recent Anita Blake books, when you find a good fanfiction story and it's never finished.

I usually have lots of ideas floating around in my head but due to my dislike of unfinished fics I try not to submit them until they're finished, or at least at a point where if I don't continue you're not left with a cliffhanger. Unfortunately I usually run out of plot half way through and rarely write in any logical order so new stories will probably be few and far between.

UPDATE - 23/8/13

No, I'm not dead. What I am is suffering from a major case of writers block, at least with the stories I already have in progress. Which is extremely annoying.

I took down the poll about which ficlet to continue. With twenty votes, more than twice that of the runners up I think Daimakaicho Hild was the clear winner - and interestingly the subject of the challenge response as well. Go Hild!

'Of Moon and Pluto' is on long-term, probably permanent, hiatus and I'm considering putting it up for adoption. I've simply lost interest in Sailor Moon and can't see gaining it back anytime soon. If anyone is interested in adopting it contact me and see if we can work something out.

I've recently gained some inspiration for 'Ah My Demoness', with the result that most of the next chapters are written. They're just missing a few scenes and need some tidying up. While I can't promise anything soon I might get something up after my challenge entry is written.

'People Buffy Summers Never Dressed Up As' has always been a bit hit and miss, as it depends entirely on me finding another character to write. As such it's usually my fallack when inspiration is lacking for other fics - and that's definately not the case at present...

Challenge

The challenge is fairly simple. Since I'll probably never get round to it, despite requests to do so, take one of the ficlets from my story 'People Buffy Summers Never Dressed Up As' and make it into a proper story.

Requirements:

- Buffy must be the main, or a main character.
- Halloween must have some permanent effects, even if its just in the form of memories.
- Not all the effects can be good ie poor night vision, allergy to sun.
- No character bashing. Pointing out and working on real character flaws is acceptable, even encouraged, but don't exaggerate them, or create something that's not there in cannon.
- Crossover universe(s) can be real or imaginary but try to give a plausible reason for the Buffy characters ending up dressing as a real person.
- The longer the better as far as I'm concerned but no official length requirements.

And tell me if you do take up the challenge - I want to read the resulting story!
