![]() Author has written 22 stories for Stargate: SG-1. 12-30-2013... An update. I have to have surgery on my left hand, probably sometime in January or February. The cyst that developed from my wrist joint is causing me quite a bit of discomfort, especially when I attempt to type, so everything is on hold, again, until after the surgery. I hope it heals with no problems, as I have had several months to think about my WIPs and would like to get back to them. I will return to working on them as soon as I can, I promise. I've been concentrating on Legacy of the Queen and posted several chapters during the latter half of this year. I'm hoping to catch it up to where I feel it should be, and then I will attempt to work on all three of them. Should anything go wrong during the surgery or recovery period, I will post it here. Thank you for being so very patient. And now back to my regular profile blurb... The NC-17 Version of my stories can be found on my website at . All of my stories except for my WIPs can be found on my website and on Symbiotica. Just a note to let you know a little about myself and my writings. My work tends to have adult content, but I cut it in the stories I post here. My website can give you access to the complete chapters. I am doing this because, although they have adult content, most have a plot and subplot, so they can be cut and still be enjoyed. And in the context of the entire story the mature content takes up a very small proportion percentage wise. I tried keep the flow of those affected in tact, and I believe that I did. I have written more stories than those that are listed here. Because a few of them have more adult content, I have not posted them here. Most of my work is R, M, or M, however there are also a few that are PG. Some have enough M material that they cannot be cut without losing the idea of the story, or at least a part that I consider too much a part of the story to change. In other words, they are PWP's with a plot. I think I have only managed to write one story that is simply a PWP. Most of my work is long. Some is epic length. There are several that are true short stories. We have lived in Arizona, U.S.A for several years, now. We love it here. I have a Significant Other, a daughter, and four cats. I am not a student in either high school or college and have not been for a very long time. I am an adult, with an adult's experiences and views of the world, and those things will enter my writing. Few things are ever either completely black or completely white. Most are shades of gray, and relationships are not as straightforward as one would wish they could be, and this comes through in my stories. You will see this very starkly in two of my stories. In one, a past relationship affects the present one, just as they can in real life. (Blood of My Heart, Beloved of My Soul) In the other, there is a struggle between what the couple wants now and what they want in the future, which makes for some decisions that probably won't be liked by my readers, although that part of the story will pass and in the end the main pairing will prevail. (A Path Not Taken) Almost all of my stories are romance, with some action/adventure, some drama, humor if I can work it in, and in the Tok'Ra Legacy Series a fair amount of fantasy. I like the Sam/Daniel pairing in both friendship and ship, however, my favorite pairing is Sam/Martouf/Lantash. They are my main pairing and what I normally write. Sam/Daniel friendship is usually quite prominent within my stories. I now have several stories that include Daniel in a romantic threesome with Sam and either Martouf/Lantash or Malek (Chains of Gold and Together come to mind). I am also writing a Sam/Daniel romance...Always Be Ours. I tend to pair Daniel with Anise, for ship for him most of the time as, other than Sam, I haven't seen a good match for him. No, not even Janet, although I know some like that pairing. It just never struck me as a good one; I have no idea why. In The Tok'Ra Legacy Series he is paired with my one and only OC female lead, which she shares with Sam, as it is a Sam/Martouf/Lantash story. I write the Tok'Ra from the point of view I believe the writers in the show should have used as well as how Jonathan Glassner, their originator, meant them to be seen. It is only after he left the show that they suddenly became antagonistic toward the Tau'ri. Anyone watching Tok'Ra I and II can see the way they should have been written. The later scenes between Garshaw and O'Neill are especially telling of how the stories should have gone. You would never have seen a later Tok'Ra kiss Jack in thanks. The Tok'Ra are Goa'uld only in their physical attributes. Mentally and emotionally they are not, and they should never have been portrayed in such an unsympathetic light. There is much more scope in my way of seeing them, therefore they are much more likable in my stories. I love Jacob and tend to use him when I can , so although I don't write 'Jacob/Selmak fics' per se... I do tend to add him in. I also use Lantash, Malek, Garshaw, Per'sus, Delek, and Anise quite often, as well as any other Tok'Ra characters we know (and some we don't know). Thoran and Delek make good antagonists, although I tend to save Delek from being a total jerk in the end. I have several OC Tok'Ra characters that move from one story to another, so as you read my stories you begin to become familiar with them. I've been told by different people that they really like that consistency as well as the references to things that have taken place in other stories. As I said, people appear to like that consistency. I do not care for the Sam/Jack pairing, so you will not find that in my stories, ever. I think Jack would bore Sam spitless in less than a week, and she would drive him crazy within days. You can't live in a bed. I think the writers have come very near to wrecking the show by allowing the 'ship' of Sam/Jack as it is. No, actually, I think they Did wreck the show by using it. I hope you enjoy my stories; and if you do please leave feedback as it helps the muse and will determine whether or not I continue to post here... if no one is reading there isn't much point of posting. I don't mean that in a bad way, I am simply stating a fact, and since I do have to cut and edit my work to post it here, it only makes sense. I don't mind doing it, if I know someone is wishing to read a lower rated version, so please let me know if you do want them in that format. I appreciate very much the feedback and encouragement that I have already received. Thanks so much. Pagan Twylight |
