December 2011 Update: Have just realised that my review alert deactivated itself. I am terribly sorry to everyone who reviewed and didn't get a response back from me, I do cherish each and every review, so thank you so much for leaving them. I'm working on some things, mostly Star Wars and Mass Effect with a bit of Dragon Age and some other fandoms tossed in there, and hope to have something up soon.

I think it is most defiantly time for a profile update. Since I am no longer very active I highly doubt that many people will read this but I don't think I can sit here anymore with this gawd awful out of date profile staring me in the face. So behold! Where to start... My name is Jacqueline and I'm a proud Australia. I am also an aspiring actress (done a commercial, a radio play and dubbed a documentry), an avid fashionista, a lover of politics, a bookworm (Fantasy, Sci-Fi and as many historical biographies as I can find), a big fan of Lord of the Rings and other so called Geeky pursuits.

My pen name comes from my love of Egyptology. Sekhmet is complete awesomeness, a warrior goddess who was stopped from destroying all life on earth by tricking her into getting drunk by telling her the beer was blood. How is that not made of win? My little avatar picture is of her, obviously.

Favourite Actors: Johnny Depp, James Marsters, Geoffrey Rush, Shia Labeouf and a bunch more obscure TV ones I doubt anyone else has heard of. T.J. Ramaini? No? Cliff Simon? Shame!

Favourite Band: Within Temptation followed by Nightwish followed closely by Evanescence

Favourite Books: A few, in no particular order...Lord of the Rings, Napoleon and Josephine: An Improbable Marriage, Elizabeth the Queen, The Other Boleyn Girl, Lieutenant Hornblower and probably loads more I'm forgetting.

Favourite Games: No order again! Final Fantasy XII, Mass Effect 1 & 2, Dragon Age Origins, Star Fox Adventures, Sims (any), KOTOR 1 and 2, Fable, Rome Total War.

Favourite Designers/Fashion Houses: Coco Chanel, Valentino, Alexander McQueen, Guess, Marc Jacobs.

Fics

So unfortunately I have not been active in my fic writing or reading for quite awhile. I have lurked over at Livejournal, though, a bit. Real life knocked me over, stole my motivation and muse, rubbed salt in the wounds and then kicked once more for good measure. I hope to be writing again in a few months as I have a number of fic ideas tho.

As for the fics I have published, they are very old and reading almost any of them pre 2010 (and even then!) makes me shudder at the quality. However, that could just be me. I am very self critical and hate almost anything I write. Call me Monet. I dabbled in numerous fandoms and move around quite a lot. I return and go to new ones almost randomly, however, expect NO more Bill fanfics. I really loathe the way the show has gone now.

I would also like to shout out to my dear friend and beta reader, the amazing Viedyn. She is a legend! Go read her stuff, her Aayla/Kit fanfics are the best in fandom. No lie.

I am a proud shipper and slasher. I usually read slash however I tend to write more ship or gen fics. I won't list my parings here as there are really too many and I read in so, so many fandoms it is simply impractical.
