I love this story. I gobbled this down in two days!

However, I have to ask because it has bugged through the entire story. How was Daniel the first person to find out about Jolinar? Wouldn't Janet have at the very least taken x-rays of Sam's head to assess the severity of the head injury? You even gave Janet a line in the prologue that she was "monitoring the swelling". How did Janet not know that Jolinar was inside Sam before she awoke in the infirmary? At the very least wouldn't the radiologist sound the alarm? Wouldn't the imaging show Jolinar's presence?

Like I said, this has been bugging me but I got over it pretty quickly to devour the story. This is amazing! Keep writing!

Wow, damn. A shame that there was never a sequel, but I think that this is probably one of the best AU's that I have read so far on Fanfiction. I will favorite and follow if you ever decide to get back into writing on here.

About midway through the story and I have to say, this is shaping up to be one of the best fanfics I've ever read. Thank you for taking to time to write it and share it with us. I'll be sure to check out some of your other stories as well.

This story is so god damn good! I've been reading it every chance I get for days. At first I wish it had more sam/Jack shippyness, but it's such a fantastic read I ain't even bothered.

Good story. But i can't imagine the later post-goauld sg1 storylines without Sam. The replicators, the ori, atlantis and pegasus galaxy stories.

This is THE BEST Jolinar fanfic I think I've ever read, and I'm so glad you were able to incorporate both Sha're AND Vala.

Great story! Kind of sad how separate she has become to SG-1 but understandable. Liked how she bluffed and saved the project.

By the way, you changed the spelling of Caleb to Kaleb after a chapter or two of him being in the story, was that intentional?

This is definitely a good story. I glanced at my old review of the last chapter and it still seems basically solid. Basically the story could use a bit sharper focus. It became particularly difficult to do that when Jolinar was split up from the rest of SG-1. I'm not saying that splitting them up was incorrect, yet it was certainly difficult to keep things focused. Perhaps SG-1 could have taken a lower emphasis. I'm not sure. Another possibility would be to give SG-1 an arc that somehow paralleled Sam's more and mostly ignore/toss out the canon SG-1 material. Again, that would not be easy.

Another thing that comes to mind is the blending of Jolinar and Sam may create the tendency for a writer to write a lot of conversations between them. Some is no doubt good, but there may be an excessive amount. It is a bit like expressing internal thoughts of normal characters. Yes, that can be useful, but normally you don't want to do it of all characters, and even then, one may not want to do it too much. On a final note, it always seems that when Jolinar is saved, Sam eventually falls for Martouf and Lantash. That almost seems too easy.
At any rate, as I've already mentioned, this is an impressive piece of work. Thanks for writing it.
