A Fond Farewell

I would like to thank all of you who have taken the time to read my work. Whether it was a one time deal or several stories, I truly appreciate your responses. I must however inform you that I am leaving the realm of fanfiction.

Wrapping my own ideas around already established characters and worlds has given me joy and helped hone my craft for nearly six years and I will never forget these experiences. However, I feel that as my college career comes to an end, so does this chapter of my life. I will of course leave my work here for the enjoyment of others, as that is our purpose as writers. To entertain. And I hope to continue this in the world of publishing, although I do not intend to make my living as a full time author. Fanfiction has given me the necessary stepping stones to weave my own tales believably and fall in love with my own characters. I will take what I have learned and strike out on my own, hoping for success in the next chapter of my life.

At this time, I would like to extend a special thanks to The Winged Ferret, GimmeABeat, LynnEGib and JoSchmo666 for the great ride we've had together over the last few months in The Q and I. I am certain all of you are sad to see the story come to a close. I am as well. But all good things must end.
