Hi from Theresa!

Life continues to be busy, but I am not by any means done writing. Sorry for the long hiatus. 2016 and 2017 was my hiatus time, and 2018 was my year to write Reylo fanfiction. I haven't posted any of it on this site, but that's my next big adventure. 2019 is me slowly getting back into Labyrinth, Strange Magic, and eventually Ouran, besides more Reylo and Star Wars. Expect to see a large outpouring of Reylo on this site over time. For older stories, I am planning to get back to writing and finishing them. I'm just not sure when. Thank you to anyone who has been reading/faving/watching in the meantime. I will also be responding to reviews belatedly as I come back on here too, as well as reediting the finished stories. So what you need to know about me comes down to two main things: that I am an engineer, and that I am a Christian.

I am an engineer at heart, a rather nerdy one, as some might have guessed from my fine descriptions of physics. It is a love-hate relationship currently being nourished by nuclear physics. I'm a nuclear engineer, so yes, I love the song "Radioactive". Life is crazy busy, but I love it. It just makes writing difficult since I am busy with work.

For Labyrinth-related stuff:

My plan is to continue/finish Sarah and the Laws of Queendom first. Afterward, I will be finishing Letters from a Mutual Friend. Later, Arrogance and Animosity. I had to take a break from the big stories because of lack of muse and life. Let me repeat: none will be dropped! I'm just doing a lot of one-shots because they help me get back into writing. Sarah and the Laws of Queendom will be finished first since it's almost done. If the ideas come, then I might update Arrogance and Animosity and Letters from a Mutual Friend at the same time, but Queendom is my first priority for finishing.

For Ouran High School Host Club:

I am a multi-shipper. I write TamaHaru, MoriHaru, and KyoHaru. TamaHaru will be one-shots that just appear from time to time as inspiration comes. KyoHaru has one finished multichapter story, and two unfinished ones. Little Ouran will be finished after What You Want. There are also several one-shots coming, as well as a Christmas story!

For Strange Magic:

Both Butterfly Bog and Potionless make me happy, especially with music references galore. As a result, there are several AU's planned for that. There is one finished multichapter one out right now, a high school AU. I'm in the middle of two modern AUs, for Christmas music, and one that involves classic oldies songs. Later, after these two AUs are done, I'll move onto the other ideas I have. Another AU will involve pop hits from the 80's on. Another AU will be for all movie soundtracks and musicals. And finally, there will be one dedicated to David Bowie and Labyrinth. There were prompts for Strange Magic Week a while back, and I got ideas for all of them. There will be stories for all of those, and there's going to be a bunch of random one-shots. This year, I wrote two more short stories.

For Star Wars:

After TFA, I wasn't completely convinced that Rey wasn't related to Luke. I wrote one one-shot related to that. After TLJ, I was thoroughly convinced Rey is a nobody, and I have become a hardcore Reylo. I have multiple stories and many one-shots. There's much coming! I have been posting all of it on A03 up until now, but I'm planning to fix that.

Everything else:

I dabble in many things. I may write more one-shots for fandoms I have already written for, and there's others I still want to pursue. You never know.

Other Stuff About Me:

As an engineer, I am detail-oriented. Don't let this confuse you when you read my stuff. I enjoy writing for fun, and only for fun. I have not taken an English class on creative writing, nor have I taken an English class in over five years. I believe in good grammar, however, so you will find that (I hope). I'm also verbose. Yay for long sentences (no, but really). I have a style, and while I enjoy reviews and want to make my stories enjoyable for all, it's impossible to please all. I will gladly take any constructive criticism. Don't expect anything ground-breaking or serious from me. I love fluff, so I write it. If I write a serious story, it will be interesting. I like to write plots that build slowly. I also HATE cliffhangers, so I avoid writing them. As for reviews, I believe in quality over quantity.

There are other important things you should know about me, and these things are listed in no particular order: I love snow, all types of romance, am the biggest hopeless romantic you will ever meet, love everything Jane Austen, and love Monty Python greatly. I LOVE music. Music ranges from my favorite group of the Beatles, to Led Zeppelin, to musicals, to Enya. My movie picks range from the romantic comedies, to comedies in general, to anything James Bond (I love Pierce Brosnan! :D) or action related (Indiana Jones and Star Wars for example). I am generally a very tolerant person and am willing to discuss anything. I don't generally curse, but I do have a slightly dirty mind, which gives excellent fodder for writing in what little free time I have. As a college student, I studied nuclear engineering, so if you want me to be even more verbose than normal, just ask me what I plan to do with my life. I also enjoy singing in a choir, or any type of singing for that matter. I think that covers the basics :)

As for books, movies, and pairings:

Labyrinth! Jareth and Sarah!!!!! :-)

Anything Jane Austen! Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy! Anne and Frederick Wentworth! Emma and Mr. Knightley! And all the other JA pairings too. I have yet to be convinced of Fanny and Crawford, unless I come across a really good fanfic that can do it.

Star Wars: REYLO!!! Reylo for life! Also, all the Finnrose and HanLeia I can find, as well as LandoxL3. I also like PoexKaydel and PoexHoldo.

Harry Potter: I like a variety, canon and fanon. Nothing slash, but Hermione with just about anyone. Snape needs someone too.

POTO: Either guy with Christine works for me.

Ouran High School Host Club: I'm a chronic multi-shipper. I'm ok with Haruhi being with Tamaki, Kyoya, Mori, or Hunny. (Nekozawa is ok too.) But, my preference is for her with Tamaki or Kyoya.

Avatar the Last Airbender: canon and fanon (Zutara and Tokka mostly). I haven't seen LoK, so nothing there.

Disney: canon all the way! Elsa from Frozen is single, so I multi-ship her a lot. There's Jelsa, Helsa, and TadaElsa.

Strange Magic: Butterfly Bog, Potionless, and StuffXThang (you'll see all three of those frequently in my stories)

Sherlock (BBC): Sherlolly, Warstan, Khanolly

Marvel Universe (movies, haven't read comics): So much multi-shipping. I love all canon, and some fanon I love: Lokane, TaserTricks, Clintasha (Natasha and Bruce are canon now, yay!), BrucexDarcy, DarcyxSteve R.

This is a story about God. Read if you believe in him, and read even if you don't.

A teenage girl about 17 named Diane had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year. She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away.

As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely.

The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her." Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're never alone. Did you know that 98 of teenagers will not stand up for God, and 93 of the people that read this won’t repost it?
