Combing the Mori/Haru archives for something nice and lemony and passionate without a hurt/comfort plot to spoil the spirit of the series. Too many of the fics on here are all about him asking gently for permission after months of restraint and then chaste scenes leading to glossed-over lovemaking. Mori is the Wild Type for a reason! He's reserved, powerful, and in control most of the time, but I can only imagine when he lets down that wall how hungry he would be for his woman. I'm happy to see at least one other writer sees that side of him, too. On that note, your writing style is lovely. You have excellent fluidity in your story, some nice attention to detail (like Haruhi folding her clothes-so practical!), and excellent grammar. I confess, I nitpick that stuff because I taught writing for years. I hope you're still writing, well, anything! I loved this and will favorite to revisit it again when I inevitably rewatch episode 7 (my favorite); I consider it secret canon now. ;) If you ever decide to peek back into the world of OHSHC fanfiction, I'll be here waiting. By the way, we share the same first name (I'm with a C)! |
