UPDATE ON 6/30/2020 - I'm pleased to report that I started Chapter 27 of "What I Want" completely from scratch. I've been working on it on and off for the past twelve hours, today, and I like the new path I've taken. I'm going to stash version 1 of this chapter to include in my story, elsewhere, because I worked hard on those paragraphs and it would be a shame to waste them as I feel one part in particular is an essential part to Haruhi's and Nekozawa's...educational relationship. As always, no promises on an upload date; right now I'm just writing anything and everything that comes to mind with the intent to polish and edit it when I feel I've gone down the path far enough. I'm going to try to keep to my original three part chapter for three different groups of characters, but I'll just wait and see where my typing leads me. This chapter has been a long time coming. I hope my long-term readers are still out there, somewhere, and I hope that new readers aren't chased away by the amateur-ish writing in my early chapters. I still intend to do a rewrite of the story for the purpose of making the writing better and more cohesive, but that's still a long ways away so I'm going to do my best to keep the current story going until I'm ready to follow through with my rewrite. (I've also got two other new stories I'd like to kick off, but I'll save those for another day.)

UPDATE ON 7/1/2020 - So...I decided to shorten Ch. 27 of "WIW" to only focus on Haruhi and Bereznoff/Nekozawa. I was intending to upload it, today, but I think I'm going to sleep on it and pursue a final edit, tomorrow. It's been a while since I've written anything so I currently have mixed feelings about what I'm going to end up posting, but I feel it's a necessary hurdle to climb over so I can get back to the meat of the story where I want it. I'm setting Haruhi and Nekozawa up to have a big fight in Chapter 28, so stay tuned for that hot mess!

UPDATE ON 7/6/2020 - While I still technically have a good portion of "WIW" chapter 28 already written, I'm shifting gears for a bit to work on one of two other stories I'm trying to get off the ground. The one I'm typing on, right now, is a Blue Exorcist fic currently titled "Underground Angels," in which Shiemi and Izumo are bad ass private investigators tackling a high stakes kidnapping case. It's still a LONG way off from being actually published, but I'm feeling really proud of this particular story idea so I felt like teasing it, here, on my profile. Wish me luck!

I'm a busier lady than I thought was possible, but my goal is to leave no story unfinished! (I just have too many hobbies to make writing a priority.)

RANDOM THOUGHTS I THINK ABOUT:

1. I'll probably get married, one day, and sooner or later my husband will ask why I'm typing so much and what it is I'm typing. I wonder how long I can hide this part of my life from him. XD

2. I should write more Humor.

3. If you bought groceries closer to their expiration dates, would that make you less wasteful and more environmentally responsible? I think so.

4. Damn Teleports is probably my best story in that I hand wrote everything prior to typing and publishing, and each chapter was perfectly connected to one another. It was also a major accomplishment for high school me.

5. The more I learn about the world the more I can never look at in the same way, ever again.

6. My Story Stats tell me that my most popular day is Wednesday - interesting. I clicked through a few months and the turnout for this is pretty similar across the board.

7. It's hard being woke and helpless at the same time.
