Author has written 13 stories for Legend of Zelda, Lord of the Rings, Tales of Symphonia, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Silmarillion, Naruto, Final Fantasy VII, Bleach, and Final Fantasy VIII. Hey, all. Please disregard my story "Strange Happenings," as I wrote that over 9000 years ago and I'm not proud of it. Here's the stats on the stories I'm working on (or not, as the case may be): TOS Harmony of the Spheres: About 1500 words into chapter 9. (For reference, my chapters generally range from 3k to 5k words.) I have yet to ascertain exactly how much it sucks. Dropped: On hiatus indefinitely. There are plenty of other stories I would be better off writing -- stories that actually have plots. (It occurs to me that the title is perhaps altogether too appropriate.) Artistic License: A weird little Yuan introspective, since he seems to demand a one-shot whenever there's a chapter of "Harmony" that doesn't have him in it (yes, we all know you're a drama queen Yuan). Having trouble ending it without sounding twee, and it hardly sounds like Yuan at all -- he must have been in a good mood at the time -- so I'm reluctant to post it. What I do have is up on my Livejournal if you're interested. Celestial Design: Originally I wasn't going to have a sequel to Harmony of the Spheres, but a scene appeared in my head, and when I wrote the scene down plot appeared. The story deals with the beginnings of Cruxis, because I have yet to see a story like that. I will write this after I finish Harmony, obviously. Laws of Motion: A ToS story based on a couple of dreams I had. Let's just say it involves aliens. Untitled: The story of the Sage siblings from when they first arrived in Sylvarant until they got to Iselia, because that's a serious gap in their lives. Mostly going to focus on Raine probably, because she's awesome. Revelations: A story about Spiritua, because I want to know why she's known in both Sylvarant and Tethe'alla. Probably going to be shorter than my other novel-length stories, because by necessity Spiritua's journey is going to be pretty similar to Colette's. Forfeit: Yay Zelos-angst. I swear I'm going to write this eventually, but angsty one-shots aren't exactly my priority right now. Naruto Abyss: This awesome psychological Shikamaru story. It's going to rock. Part of the first chapter is now up on my Livejournal. FFVII Blue Suits and Scuffed Boots: How the Turks got from where they are at the end of FF7 to the beginning of Advent Children. Because, not to spoil anything, there are some serious plotholes with those guys. Untitled: A Turk mystery set pre-FFVII that sprung from a oneshot that got way out of control. Teaser on my Livejournal. House Of Cards: Some story about Tseng's past, because everyone writes about Reno's tragic past and somebody needs to spread the Tseng Love. He Wasn't There: May or may not actually write this, because the world does not need any more Reno-angst. But Rude is very persistent. So if you particularly want to see any of those, just email me. I'll accept emails gladly, as the only emails I ever get are spam. Published Stories: Interesting Facts! Broken is my second-shortest story, and yet has the most hits. It says not to read Dropped right there in the summary, and yet it's got the second-most amount of reviews. I guess there's something to reverse psychology after all. Chapter six of Harmony of the Spheres was written while listening to "Queen of Pain" by Nu Pagadi repeatedly. And by repeatedly I mean repeatedly. View From The Edge and Private Religion were written because Yuan cannot stand to have a chapter go by without him in it. Broken, Eleventh Hour, Perfection, and Prayer were written as part of my aborted attempt to complete one of those 100-theme things. Conversations With A Dead Man was written long after I lost interest in FFVIII, but I felt the need to get it out of my system. |
