I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since your last update. I remember seeing a new chapter and being so excited, and then saddened when it was just a note saying it won’t be updated any time soon. But I understood, of course! And still do! I love this story and always come back to it after a while. Thank you for writing it! The last chapter always makes me smile oh so much! I still love this fic so much! I'm just noticing your note about the structure of story and it's parts. Is it possible for us to get a mini update that just has the general ideas you had originally planned out? I'm still so curious after all this time and I know it's hard to just pick up writing a story again like that. Even if it's just, "they bang like bunnies and livehappily ever after in cloud's mind." I need peace of mind just like Cloud does! lol

aww that is terrible sad that since 2009 there is no new chap and now it is 2018...i really wuld have loved where this goes, what it will Change, if it truely changes things in the other time, if seph will not read the books and go koockoo...how hey come together, aand they will as they learn more and more about each other and come slowly together what i think is great
if reno will kill this bastard Boy for trying to hurt or kill Cloud...and i think he will try to use the test for this..."accidently Shooting or letting cloud run in a sword" or such... i mean that would kill two flie with one hit...the bad Boy is gone and reno did what tseng does want from him

it would be great when they dont go to nibelheim, or Cloud silently Walking away from town at night waking Vincent letting the mansion explode and going back without anyone knowing he was there... Vincent can meet his son and tell him all about things he Needs to know, then together destry hojo and the fat Präsident and all should go well...and whenthey are good they can find zacks angael and heal him!

In my opinion, Zack doesn't need to be included in Cloud and Sephiroth's relationship. He already has Aerith :/ Just leave him out of this... I'm continuing to hate Zack in this story honestly... Just stick to Zack/Aerith don't make them a threesome!

I don't really care if Zack just went to Seph just for sex, I'm still angry at hin. And I hate him here. He already has Aerith as his girlfriend! She's the one he should only fuck with what the hell? Zack should sod off. Seph is Cloud's!

I suppose you will never read this, but just in case you do it somewhen: I really loved reading this story! I loved the characterizations very much! I can understand if some people dislike Cloud having such a low self esteem in regards to Sephiroth, but I already read "A long, hard road" by Twig in which Cloud was similarly described and this was a great read, too!
I want to thank you for all the work you put into "Fusion"!

Holy crap, your Cloud is a fricking drama queen. Zack isn't much better, but at least he has his age as an excuse. I mean isn't Cloud 30 in this fic? He's acting like a 14 year old girl with boy problems. I can understand him being angsty and all that after all the crap he has gone through in canon but this is getting ridiculous.

You haven't updated in a long time, but I still want to leave a review nonetheless.

I initially didn't want to read it because it's unfinished and whenever I get to the end of unfinished fics I get really sad, haha. But anyway, I enjoyed reading this immensely. If you ever pick this up again, I'll be glad to read whatever you have planned for this story.

Just when the thing started to get interesting!

I totally understand that 'not-so-proud' feeling when reading your own material. I started a Zelda fic some 12 years ago, back to when I was still in high school. At the time I thought that it was awesome and all and all...I never finished it, and when I found it again in my bookshelf, I started reading it again.

The first thing I tought was :OMG how did I manage to find THAT good ?

And I still have the handwritten books, but still...I might never finish it. If I did I surely would need to start from scratch, if only to adapt it to my 'new' writing style.

Anyway. I usually don't read fics that doesn't contain any...hrhm, lemon. I usually drop out after a few chapters. But yours...I don't know...This story just kept me waiting for the next chapter. I really like the way you depicted your characters, the way Seph is trying to wriggle in the party with is blatant lack of social skill.

Whish I could read more, but here again I understand why you put this story on hiatus. I don't know if this comment will ever reach you, but in the case it does, I need to say thank you for the story!

this is my second time reading your fic. i very rarely reread anything, btw. so. draw whichever conclusions you want from that)) it will probably be right.
i will be honest, the beginning was a little... weak. overdone. cloud was a bit too pitiful for my taste, to put it bluntly. but dear god, the progress - i have difficulty finding proper words to adress my amazement. the quality of your writing started to rise from chapter to chapter, freaking soaring by the end. roughly the last third of the fic was so goddamn intense and well-written that i literally had to stop at the most gripping moments to calm down and remind myself that it is only fiction, goddamnit. i read your note about not liking your early writing, but i think thats because when you think about continuing, the first thing you do is start rereading from the beginning, which... ouch. yes. maybe ignore the first half and start straight from the middle? i know its frustrating, but, man, its fascinating to me, this evolution of a talented author recorded in art form, illuminated through the heros thought process.
p.s. and your sephiroth is such a curious (and fucking painful at times) balance of detachment and humanity that somehow, miraculously works, and, to me, feels really, thrillingly authentic.
p.s.2. this is, by far, the longest effing review i have ever written, and i have been lurking in different fandoms for about ten years. the fuck.
