lilith dracul chapter 1 . 7/10/2013 Wow another great story |
Guest chapter 1 . 7/1/2012 A other fantastic fic. I've never really read anything about Tseng so this was a great look into his character and I liked the time line. Even if Tseng didn't laugh at Reno's surprise joke kidnapping, I certainly did... Lol! |
Licoriceallsorts chapter 1 . 9/6/2010 Even though the last review was posted three years ago, I hope people are still reading this. It's so worth it. I love Tseng, and although this one is in some ways not 'my' Tseng, he's totally in character, rounded, believable, and sympathetic. I love all your little details - the way he flicks Elena's nose instead of punching it, then hits her in the stomach. His attitude towards the people in the slums: "Tseng was more than happy to let her have her share in addition to her fee. It was the least he could do considering what he was paying her. Labour from the slums was cheap. More than cheap. For just a hundred gil a day, Tseng could practically own someone from the lower city of Midgar. Having once briefly lived in the squalor of the slums after moving with his family from their native Wutai, the Turk Commander knew what it was like to live in those awful conditions. Conditions he would never subject himself to again." That's just brilliant. It packs so much into comparatively few words. His love for his Turks and his paradoxical fear of getting close to them. His reaction to Hojo. His vanity. His complex feelings for Aerith. You've really done him justice here, and your writing (I mean your use of English) is always so elegant and easy to read. Thanks for this. |
Natural Seoul chapter 1 . 7/7/2009 "Yeast reminds me of yeast infections, and I ain’t fucking eating a godamn yeast infection." I know you don't really need your genius repeated back to you, but there you have it. You made my day with that line. |
PlumCrazy chapter 1 . 10/20/2006 It made me view Tseng as a real person and kept me laughing |
Erin Elric chapter 1 . 8/15/2006 Very good. |
Kah'T.ASTROPHUCK chapter 1 . 7/12/2006 Aw. Poor Tseng. |

Vixen Rouge chapter 1 . 12/27/2005 (sorry for my English I'm French, yo) You're really skilled... I'love the way you write, there's always some suspens and some err... "retournement de situation" if I can say so (dunno how to say in English). Ah, and Tseng is so... Tseng...! you did a fucking good job in this fic (...in the others too in fact...). ah, I'm never able to find the good words on the moment but... EVERYBODY ! READ THIS FICTION ! keep on writing ! Vixen Rouge |
Lady Sanzennine chapter 1 . 12/5/2005 Your series of Turk stories is excellent. They're fascinating characters, aren't they? You capture their personalities and speech patterns very well. I enjoyed reading this fic. It was funny and entertaining, and also a great look into Tseng's mind and life. |
JA-Japster chapter 1 . 10/22/2005 This is as close to perfect as its going to get. There's action, witty dialogue, amazing characterization, humor, anything and everything one could possibly expect from a story is here. Barring a few typos that a spell checker couldn't pick up, A Day in the Life of Tseng was one of the most flawless pieces of fanfiction I've read in a long time. Terrific, Grade A, stuff. |
Adryl chapter 1 . 10/21/2005 Extremely well written, I love how you've added the times and everything to give a feel for Tseng's schedule. I actually forgot what time it really was while I was reading it! Again, excellent job! |
Nando the RPS King chapter 1 . 10/20/2005 Excellent work, it was a real pleasure to read. I'll be looking forward to the next installment in this series. |
The Tiramisu Of Impending Doom chapter 1 . 10/20/2005 I like your characterization of Tseng, and his shiny hair. Heheheheh. The waffles and pancakes discussion made me smile. I like waffles and pancakes, yeast infections be damned. Tseng. The man is busy. I love how you write these. Keep them coming. |
