Author has written 5 stories for Final Fantasy X, and Sly Cooper. *The Limits of Sanity Series* PART 1 l THE SYNDROME SAGA [COMPLETE] Stockholm Syndrome: World: Sly Cooper 2: Band of Thieves. Theme Song: Head Over Feet (Alanis Morisette) Summary: "Have you ever wondered what would happen if you took an incredibly stubborn master thief and his gang and an equally stubborn teenage girl and her vendetta and forced them into the same van? If you have, you're a sadist. But then, so am I." Pairings: None I'm not going to lie to you guys, this story is my baby. I love everything about it, even though the beginning is a little wobbly because I started it years ago and there's only so much you can revise. This story let me be funny, dramatic, and throw my subtle hints of romance in there as much as I wanted. I love this story mostly because it's just fun. It was fun to write, it's fun to read, and I got to play one of my favorite games of all time over and over again while writing it. It's the first story I ever finished of my own volition and not out of obligation to reviewers and it was so worth it. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it. Lima Syndrome: World: Sly Cooper 3: Honor Among Thieves Theme Song: Chances (Five For Fighting) Summary: "Sly had been expecting this whole 'breaking and entering' thing to go better. That is to say, he hadn't expected to be knocked out with a frying pan and tied to a dinner chair with his own shoelaces." Pairings: Bentley/Penelope Nightingale Syndrome: World: Sly Cooper 4: Thieves in Time Theme Song: The Perfect Scene (Mercy Mercedes) Summary: "Oh, I know what I'm getting myself into. An epic adventure where nothing will go right except the improvisations. Bentley being smarter than all of us, Murray being really confusing, me laughing while Carmelita tries to shoot you... actually, is that a thing that's going to happen? Or has she sworn off raccoon murder during your fake amnesia?" Pairings: Bentley/Penelope, Sly/OC [ONGOING] White Knight Syndrome: World: Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus Theme Song: Into the Night (Santana) Summary: "Wow, you guys are really bad at this whole hostage taking thing, aren't you?" COMING SOON: PART 2 *One-Shots* Remembrance: World: Final Fantasy X Theme Song: Had A Bad Day (Daniel Powter) Summary: "Happy endings aren't handed out like candy at Christmas and no one knows that better than Rikku. But that's not going to hold her back, because some sweets are worth stealing. Aurikku." Pairings: AuronXRikku, TidusXYuna This story. Oh, this story. This is one of my best reviewed pieces of all time. I didn't think I had it in me to make someone cry, but I was pleasantly surprised. I'm a sucker for this pairing. I really am. It's one of the prime instances for "opposites attract", which I usually despise. It's a romance, surprise surprise. This was originally supposed to be a full-length story, but my inspiration is like lightning, one brilliant flash and it's gone, so it wound up being a one-shot instead. This story is dedicated to my best friend, who is the biggest FFX fan in existence and loves the pairing. She's an awesome friend and makes me feel valued whenever I speak to her, but I am absolute crap at saying stuff like that, so I write it out like this and give presents instead. That's logical, right? And, true to my form, I couldn't not give this story a happy ending. Sad endings have their places, but not in this story. I hope you enjoy it and that it gives you cause to have a little fluffy freakout. NOTE: I made a vow to myself about halfway through my first story, when I realized that I'm a horrible procrastinator, to never post a new story on this site until it was finished. So, if I'm inbetween stories, don't think that means I've dropped off of the face of the Earth, it's just taking me a while to finish my current project. The upside of this is that the updates you get should be fairly consistent. |
