Wow, that was exceptional, and, believe it or not, I totally agree with you. I am 99.99% sure that Donny knew about Raph's secret life, but just didn't want to cause any more fall-outs in the family. Really good story - you are a skilled writer.

I totally agree with you about this - I can't see Donnie NOT knowing about Raph being Nightwatcher. This is awesome, and what I picture would happen. Thanks for staying true to Don!

OMG, angst would be right. Poor Raph, thinking no one notices. And poor Donny, afraid of losing two brothers.

I guess I never really thought of the whole Nightwatcher thing from Donny's perspective. I mean, its Raph. Kickin' ass and takin' names is what he does and is pretty damn good at. I never though that there would be so much disapproval. But I'm not his brother. Nope, just another fan obsessed with his quality of yum! Lol.

This was another great one shot. Your stories have so much depth to them, really getting to the heart of the matter and making people thing more of the family as a unit than one individual, even if the story was meant for the sole purpose on focusing on just one or two of the guys.

I also couldn't believe that Casey, of all people, could be the only one to figure out that Raph was the Nightwatcher, and always thought the others secretly knew too, or at least had their suspicions, even if they didn't know for sure.

And I can imagine Donny secretly repairing the bike, and waiting to hear that Raph came home. Really sweet. :)

I really pretty much prefer your version over the movie, really. I LOVED your version. I didn't like that in the movie they seemed to show that nor Don nor anyone in the family knew Raph was working as Nightwatcher while Leo was away... it was frustrating. I mean, c'mon! Donny would have figured it out eventually, maybe even Splinter!

So your story makes more sense to me. It's kind of heart-warming to read a story like this and realise that despite the fights that Raph and Don have during the day, Don still cares for his brother and works on his bike without Raph knowing. Oh Raph... how could you not notice that. I feel bad for Don, having so much work to do and still doing whatever he can for his family. *hugs Donny*

I know this fic is complete but it would be nice to read a sequel, even if it's short, where Raph and Don come to understand each other after this realisation.

I liked this one as well and i have to agree with it. That certain other someone had to have somehow KNOWN.

yeah, that always bothered me too. i mean, Don is the smartest character in the series and Casey is well... not even close (sorry Case), if Casey could figure it out, Don would have had to long ago. even MIKEY should have! or at least Leo when he came back.
