Rereading this again after a while and I’m cackling like mad because I’ve forgotten how hilarious Donnie’s snarky internal monologue is.

And his reaction to April and concluding assessment of himself had me in tears.

After so many years, I found myself going back here to read this again. I don't think you fully realize what a masterpiece you have created. I always have this story at the back of my mind. Honestly, whenever I think of my most favorite story in the TMNT fandom, I always pick this one first. It's the perfect blend of angst, fluff, humor, and the way you describe the fight scenes and how Don suffers through every memory recovery is brilliant. This is really amazing, and I think I'll keep coming back and reading this. Thank you for this, really!

I reread this story frequently. I do not know if I have ever written a review for it before. This story is amazing. At some point in time, I would like to reread it with the translations in mind. It was very clever, and probably very time consuming, to write it from Don's perspective with all of the gibberish. I really like the characterization of each person. You also have wonderful action sequences that really make me feel like I am there. You are my favorite TMNT story writer. I reread all of your stories frequently.

I swear, this is like my 4th time reading this particular story. I can't seem to get enough of it.

Triggered much. It's not really racist to call people by color, especially if you don't know who they are and only have limited ways of describing them. To say or assume people are bad because they are a certain color is racist. In this case Donatello was only describing them by what they were wearing and thought of them as bad because they were trying to harm him. You're just being a drama queen and trying to make a big deal about something that isn't even there.

This is the sweetest story a tmnt can have.
