This story is just incredibly powerful. It gave me such mixed emotions! Of course I felt so bad for Hiei. All that torture was gruesome! It makes me suspect that you have some experience in this area. c: Every little part of Hiei's torture made me cringe from Yukina breaking his leg to the emotional torture of having Kuwabara beat him. I could just feel Hiei's little trust in people dying. And not to mention that water torture. Too painful. You have come up with such incredible tortures that suit demons so perfectly. You're just a Yu Yu Hakusho expert. I admire you deeply. Despite Hiei's suffering, you made me empathize so much with Atshushi! Your depictions of his burned village and family made my heart ache. The part with the baby's arm seeming to reach for its toy made me cringe. That was just brilliantly angst-y. Even Atshushi's changeling powers were described so amazingly. I actually love your original characters! I usually hate original characters but yours just seem to blend in with Yu Yu Hakusho so well that they could be actual characters in the series. And your original characters are the furthest things from Mary Sues ever. You don't make them exceptionally powerful or exceptionally weak and you give them such depth. You're such a talented writer. Don't ever stop.

Hiya! This story was very good. It was expertly written and there were no gramatical errors that i could find. I love the idea of an old enemie atacking and torturing Hiei. Though, Hiei is my favorite character in the show, I can't say that he didnt have it coming for him. This story, much like the one before it, expertly shows the relationship between Kurama and Hiei. Your villians were very believeable and so were the methods of Hiei's torture and his reactions to everything. All in all, I really liked this story, and i can't wait to read more! Cyal8r!

Wow...isn't that a little mean...? His family did die because of Hiei. He could at least show a little sympathy, but that would make him OOC...so nevermind. I don't know. The ending wasn't what I was hoping for. Other than that, this story has been amazing. Very well written.

you know, one line you had Yusuke think after visiting Hiei-sama got me thinking about a story idea. the line was

"Besides, he strikes me as someone who prefers to train in private, without an audience. Grandma wouldn’t be able to resist critiquing his attacks, either." you could probably do a really funny one-shot about Genkai-san coming across Hiei-sama training and giving... "helpful" critiques. *big grin* i can jsut imagine Hiei-sama's response.

um, quick question by the way. why didn't atshushi impersonate Yusuke? i mean, Hiei-sama obviously likes Yusuke a lot better than Kuwa-chan, so i would have thought that mean atshushi would turn into people that Hiei-sama actually likes. i was just curious, is all. if there's no real reason, meh, it's still a good story.

Awesome! I was waiting for a story that had Hiei in danger instead of Kurama. You did an awesome job! I was really sad though, Yukina torturing Hiei is just so horrible. I'm really glad that it all worked out in the end. Yay for you!

Awesome story! I was addicted by the time i read the first chapter. Its hard finding good writers like yourself and like someone else said, non-yaoi writers. You are a great writer! I just wish i could half as good as you. But anyways I am also planning to read your other stories. but they're so long! My grandma got mad cuz i said i wanted to finish the chapter before getting off since i was half way done and it took about 10minutes to finish. But the quality of your stories is amazing! Keep it up!

i read this story before i got a name and i wanted to review but couldnt but now that i do i would just like to say...IT ROCKED!{its one of my favorites} nice work and one of the reasons it was good was because it was non yaoi{do you know how hard it is to find a good non yaoi author?}also i liked your other stories aswell so good work and keep it up :]
