After the the end of the Kaiju war our heroes part ways to try to heal from their losses as well as build new futures. Mako and Raleigh retreat to the peace of the Alaskan wilderness, Herc establishes his post as PPDC Marshall and Tendo, Hermann and Newt return to their respective families and jobs. However the world, their pasts or the Kaiju are not done with them yet.

One year after the kaiju war, Hermann and Newton have relocated to Berlin to continue studying the kaiju in order to unlock the secrets of the Anteverse. What they don't know is that the Precursors, the creators of the kaiju, plan to do the same with Earth by utilizing the connection from the remaining kaiju to Newton's mind.

Hermann, Dee, Newton and Elle might think that the battle has been won. They are wrong.

There's a moment of light and pain as Striker Eureka explodes around him. And then nothing. And then Chuck wakes up to a world where no-one can see him, hear him, or feel him. No-one, that is, except for the taciturn ghost who follows Raleigh Becket around and introduces himself as "Raleigh's brother, Yancy."

There and back again, with a fight to the death along the way.

Starfleet returns to earth where J.T meets the members of his future Starship crew. Christopher Pike succumbs to his parental side.

Pilots have died in the drift before, Yancy wasn't the first. The Gipsy though? She's the first Jaeger to be recommissioned and rebuilt. Raleigh wasn't anyone's first choice to pilot her, one failed shot was all anyone got, well anyone except for Yancy. For Yancy only Raleigh would work.

When the Klingons present evidence of the massacre on Qo'noS, Starfleet has two options: hand over the criminal known as James Kirk, or prepare for war. Post STID.

It was an accident. Really. That the accident resulted in Chuck being forced to Shift, well, who knew? Certainly not Dr. Newton Geiszler, who had no idea that distilled Kaiju Blue could do that to a Shifter. No one can explain how it happened. Just like no one can explain why Chuck is stuck and can't Shift back. Or if it can be reversed. Sequel to Shifting Perspective

Spock had never really appreciated the depth of Jim's obsession with the Kobayashi Maru until his fever riddled captain set about beating the unbeatable all over again, consequences be damned.

When Newton and Hermann meet for the first time, it seems like they have nothing in common. And while it is said that opposites attract, no one said it was going to be easy to acknowledge that attraction. Sometimes it takes a joint fusion with an alien clone monster to realize how much you need someone.

What if Admiral Marcus hadn't died at Khan's hands, and, instead, been transported to the Enterprise with Carol, Scotty and Kirk to suffer her fate. Yet everything else had transpired, except Pike somehow survived in this one too. Good Marcus whumping in this one. Admiral Marcus meets his fate.

General weirdness, rude humor and hilarity ensues.
