I loved this story so much! I love the relationship you portrayed between Watney and Lewis. It aligns with book and movie canon, so is realistic, yet at the same time, provides further detail and development to make the story worth reading. It was super sweet. The plot was funny and at the same time sweet and serious.

Overall, very good job. This is one of my favorite stories on this archive.

Great story! I liked the way Commander Lewis acknowledged her responsibilities toward all of her crew - and finally learned to understand all of them. I'm convinced that part of Lewis' guilt and angst had been due to the brusque way she had treated Mark just before the disaster, not realizing his cleverness and intelligence behind the clowning chatter with Martinez.

Until he'd been accidentally marooned on Mars ...

And also, Mark's ordeal does seem to imbued him to learn to understand and accept different ways of life - and music. I mean, seriously, can he truly despise disco so much that he was *dancing* to it in the rover after getting the RTG?!

Keep up the great work, please!
