I write fanfiction as a testing ground for styles and techniques that I then can use in my fully original works.

I am also utterly terrible at judging where the line between T and M ratings are, so if you think something is too mild for an M, that uncertainty probably played into it. I'd rather rate something to high and have it not seen by as many folks than risk getting barred from using the site.

I have been writing Harry Potter fics since...oh hell, something like after the second or third book came out. This was my first "official" dalliance into fic.

Of course, if you count my imaginative play as a young child, I was creating Star Trek stories from about the age 7 or 8.

Songs referenced and literature alluded to in my fics usually really exists (yes, there is a song about a drunk donkey- it is delightful).

I post on WattPad as ALorenaE and have an Archive of Our Own account under the name LadyLorena. I cross post between all three. I eventually plan on being a "real author" in the great wide reading world.

I read every review and do reply to as many as I can (which is most of them!).
