Awesome. I don't just mean that in a California-surfer dude kind of way, but also, AWE-some in a profound, inspired way. This is rare to find in regular fiction, but that you've managed it in fan fiction is so cool. You also did a great job of toggling back and forth from the character action and the reports, and both styles were distinct in their execution. So glad I found your story!
