Nice nod to the video of The Mark Watney syllabus. How to make a potato dinner 1,000 different ways, making a bathtub with an old RTG, stuff like that. I can see him write that once back home on Earth.

This is great! I've fallen in love with The Martian since seeing the movie (and then reading the book in record time), and this was just a great compliment to them both... and then of course I also giggled at the end because of course, Johanbeck!

Nice story! Good job on having the crew ration, so they could get Mark up to a healthy weight again - make sure they were fully covered against emergencies.

So, it took three months for Mark to get back to normal. Or, was that to the new, leaner normal that we saw at the end of the movie? Along with something that, so far, no one has commented on - Mark's new glasses.
