I'm finally reviewing! Reading this first chapter was an adventure all on its own. As a person who has trouble with fight scenes, I'd say that you did really well. It was action-packed, but not redundant in how you wrote it. The tension, the climax, and the anticipation were all written really well. I liked how you invoked sympathy for what were first thought to be the antagonists. Overall, can't wait to see how you decide to continue this!
